Fly above Sin City: Las Vegas Ziplining

Bootleg Canyon is known for its incredible hiking trails and beautiful lake views, but who wants to keep their feet firmly on the ground when they’re on holiday? You don’t just have to stick to The Strip for ziplining — Boulder City has your back.

Just 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas, Flightlinez has put together an eco-adventure that’s more than just your average zipline. Over the course of four hours, you’ll soar from the top of a desert mountain and be treated to spectacular views of Nevada, including Lake Mead, Eldorado Valley and Las Vegas itself.

You’ll be picked up from the Excalibur Hotel and Casino and taken through the scenic surrounds of Bootleg Canyon and, after a quick safety class where you’ll learn the ins and outs of wire-riding, you’ll be whisked up to the top of Red Mountain to begin the first challenge — a 15-minute hike to the ‘beginners’ platform. Breathe in that fresh mountain air and get ready to ride the lines, which range in length from 1,150 to 2,550 feet.  

Your introduction to the Flightlinez course is a casual 3,800 feet above sea level, overlooking Sin City. It’s the first of four distinct runs, where you’ll be sailing through the air at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour in a paragliding harness. No biggie.

The entire course boasts a mile and a half of cable, spanning insane views of the scenic desert landscapes below. All the while, your professional tour guide will entertain you with historical, geological and ecological insights of the mountains and desert; and they’ll encourage you to keep your eyes open mid-zip to spot the canyon wildlife, like red-tail hawks, chuckwallas, bighorn sheep. These guys are pretty much Gandalf from Lord of the Rings  they’re super-knowledgeable, they lead you through the mountains, and they’re always ready to fly (“…you fools”).

Give yourself a break from the bright lights and nightlife of Vegas, and experience the natural side of Nevada in the Mojave Desert. You’ll see a whole lot of it over four different ziplines of over 8,000 feet in total. And you know what they say  time flies when… well, you know the rest.

  • There is no age limit to participate however you must weigh between 75lbs (34kgs or 5.3 st) and 250lbs (113 kgs or 17.8 st). Please advise your weights at the time of booking

  • Not recommended for participants with back problems, heart problems or other serious medical conditions

  • Not recommended for pregnant women

  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair, it is not wheelchair accessible

  • Please wear closed toed shoes. No sandals allowed

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen are strongly advised

  • Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is cancelled, you will not be entitled to a refund

  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

Depending on when you are due to travel, your holiday may be affected and we’ll email you to let you know as least 21 days before travel.

For extra piece of mind, new bookings made before 30 September 2020 for travel up 30 April 2021 also have the flexibility to amend free of charge. If you need to change don’t worry, you can move your holiday as far out as 31 December 2021 subject to availability.

Payment flexibility


Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. If your holiday is going ahead as planned, you can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. If you’re unsure, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel by requesting a call back in Manage My booking for one of our team to look at options. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

We're flexible with your holiday plans


We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility.

You're holiday is going ahead as planned


If we haven’t notified you of any changes, your holiday will be going ahead as planned but if you prefer to move your holiday to a later time we can help. You can call our team on 0344 472 9499 who can look at options for you.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.

To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
