Inside the upscale Ironshore neighborhood, just 5 minutes away from Cinnamon Hill, White Witch and the Half Moon, three championship golf courses and steps away from the shores of the Caribbean sea in Montego Bay. 5 miles east of Montego Bay and 3 miles from the famous "Hip Strip". Property was lovely, room was nice, the staff friendly and the food good. Unfortunately there were several factors that fell short of our expectations. Property was lovely, room was nice, the staff friendly and the food good. Unfortunately there were several factors that fell short of our expectations. Private beach was small and although it did have sand and shade umbrellas, the lounges were worn and saggy so that when sitting on them, you were literally sitting on a hard support bar. But ultimately it was the lack of a usable beachfront that was disheartening. The water didn't have a sandbar to walk out on - it was like silty clay and when my husband tried to walk out, he sank well above his ankles. It was like quicksand and full of seaweed. He tried to snorkel but the visibility wasn't the greatest due to the water conditions. It was literally days before we saw ANYONE in the water and I certainly never went in. Other guests were complaining about the lack of a swimmable beach and asked to be transferred to an affiliated resort, however were denied. Guests who had stayed at other Zoetry properties indicated this was not comparable to other stays. Not a single guest we chatted with indicated they would be back. We ended up booking excursions to Doctor's Cave beach to experience what one would expect from a beach vacation. Unfortunately this ran over $100 USD per day, but it was the only way to salvage the trip. My stay at Zoetry Montego Bay was wonderful. It's a lovely, boutique resort that may not have all the amenities you will find in a larger resort, and it makes up for that by having the personal services, getting to know the staff, and being totally taken care of while you are there! I went to recuperate and restore after having had a freak traumatic incident. My Butler, Sheldon, was so much more than I could have expected-he couldn't do enough for me...making reservations, finding safe rides to go into Montego Bay, checking on me and any needs I might have...and so much more! If you go to the spa, Michael was wonderful and really helped my body and soul heal. Nadia, the General Manager heard some of my initial concerns and also made sure that she took care of them. Laetitia, managing the front desks was also very helpful. Almost every staff person there was friendly. It was the perfect place for me to continue my recovery while bringing a sense of peace and total relaxation! The Chef was imaginative with his menus and I was definitely well fed. I'd definitely return and highly recommend it! Read less

For our first experience with an all inclusive and this resort we were very pleased. The staff was exceptional from the moment we walked into the lobby. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend every time.
