The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi occupies its own private bay at Pai Plong, backed by soaring cliffs and fronted by a white sand beach. Where is it

On the beachfront at Pai Plong Bay, a 15-minute ride from Ao Nang. Transfer time from Krabi Airport: 40 minutes by road and boat (weather dependent).

1-Bedroom Beachfront Villa, set right on the beach with ocean views, separate bedroom and oversized signature king-size bed, personal CD/DVD player and in-house films, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child, (rollaway bed for third person).

1-Bed Ocean Facing Villa with pool, is slightly larger than the Beachfront Villa, and has uninterrupted views of the ocean, with a 15 sq m pool, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (rollaway bed for third person).

2-Bedroom Villas are set right on the beach ideal for sunset views, have a separate bedroom, living and dining room, 2 TVs, CD/DVD Player and furnished sun terrace, with an oversized king-size bed and 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults or 4 adults and 3 children (rollaway bed for 7th person).

Royal Villa which is very large and luxurious with a private entrance and lobby, 2 bathrooms, outdoor dining and lounging salas and direct access to a private pool, with an oversized king-size bed and 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults or 4 adults and 3 children (rollaway bed for 7th person).

Still a great place not as smart as it used to be but it is 5 years older , seems much bigger too. As there are more peaple the boats possibly be a bit more difficult

Team housekeeping need to work for their quality of service. Overall all departments need to work for service and response time for the service. F and B- Last night we ordered our drink at pool side and later requested for menu however, waiter never turn up with the menu hence, we went and ordered food to be deliver at room. Front office- While checkin FO team mentioned 3 pm is the checkin time where we reached hotel at 11:30 am after traveling for 12 hrs. Requested to give room on priority or dirty room only to refresh however, same was refused finally we got the room at 2 pm. Housekeeping- in morning at around 6:45 am requested for nail paint remover however, didn’t receive till now reminder message was shared at reception but didn’t get response. While leaving from the room kept a note for cleanliness points ( silicon, grouting, fixtures dirty, cobweb in the room) but nobody bother to touch or attend these points. Towel to discard was kept on floor by us but when we came back , same towel was placed back on rail. Room not at all attended well , only bed was made .Balcony was not cleaned.All litters were laying in the room , last night setup petals were left on bed extension .requested for team housekeeping to attend points but nobody turn up . Team need training to be the best . Hotel situated at the best location and surrounded with natural beauty however team are not trained well to maintain the beauty and make guest experience memorable. Very poor service. Read less

Our experience at Centara did not meet our expectations. This hotel falls more in the 3-star range than the 5-star range. The hotel as a whole, especially the rooms, are outdated and could use a facelift. The views are beautiful and we very much enjoyed access to a private beach. Be aware the boat and Monkey Trail are the only way to access the resort. Boat transportation was prompt and as expected, but the jetty dock is not stable. Staff is not always on the dock to help and there are not railings available the full length of the dock. The food was good. Our favorite was Hagi, the Japanese restaurant. Staff was excellent here and very accommodating to dietary preferences and making adjustments for unavailable menu items. Overall, the staff was good, but could have been slightly more attentive at the pool, with the exception of in-training staff member, Brent. Highly recommend the hotel hire Brent to full time immediately! Unfortunately, one of the pools was closed three out of the four days we were visiting and the other pool was very cloudy and not clean. Given we were at a pool resort, this was disappointing. If looking for a hotel with a private beach and beautiful views, Centara will check the box, but it’s unlikely to meet all of your expectations. Read less

Something was rotting in AC and no one cared to change my room. I even told the help desk and some engineers came and just went back. I had to stay like this for three night. Moreover the food was absolutely horrible. You are cooking vegetarian dishes (for example Dal ) in fish oil. On my checkout day, bell boy came to my room unannounced and grabbed my luggage infront of me half a hour before my checkout. The front desk has no coordination among themselves. I asked for a delayed shuttle and was confirmed one but then the new staff was very rude and asked me that why have I missed my ferry at 11am (when I asked them to keep it at 1pm). I had to recall whole conversation with another staff to make them understand that I had booked for 1pm. I have stayed with centara in Maldives and it was nice but This stay was utter disappointment. I will definitely not recommend people to visit this place with this kind of service. Read less
