The hotel

Boasting the world's most famous zip code 90210, the Beverly Hilton is the home of the Golden Globe awards every January, making it one of the premier places to see and be seen. This hotel is a favourite with the stars, a glittering landmark since the 50s that has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe and is also where she received her Favourite Actress Golden Globe in 1962. A walk through the corridors will give you an idea of the glamour and fame that have also passed through over the years, all of the pictures were taken in the hotel itself. Guest rooms are large and most have a terrace or city views, whilst each room is fitted out with a tablet to allow you to order room service and other guest services. The pool terrace is spacious with plenty of areas to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Theres a fire pit for cooler nights, and the pool itself is the largest in Beverly Hills. After working up an appetite you can head to CIRCA 55 for casual dining, but there’s lots of choice nearby too.

Hotel is beautiful inside. Rooms were spacious. Views were amazing. We had a king bed with a pullout couch for the kids. Byredo soap, shampoo and conditioner used in the rooms. Staff was professional. Spent the day driving from San Diego to LA so the kids were tired. We had an early flight back to Toronto in the morning so decided to just enjoy the hotel for that 1 night. Be aware that you have to book the pool since it’s shared with the other hotel. We couldn’t go because it was sold out. Mike (I hope that’s his name) was the host working at CIRCA 55 was so nice and took photos of us with the mountains in the background. He even let us eat outside for happy hour with the kids even though the servers said we couldn’t. Would come back without the kids next time. Read less

Lovey hotel but right now is not the right time to go. It is undergoing a renovation. The pool is closed and while you have access to the Waldorf next door, only 20 seats a day are allocated to the Hilton. So during a conference, you're out of luck. The concierge was great and recommended great restaurants. Staff are friendly, rooms are… Read more

This is a great hotel in every way, location, rooms, atmosphere and history. This is a great hotel in every way, location, rooms, atmosphere and history. OK from a history standpoint it is not the status it once had and it shows a little age (dated exterior); however, it is still great. It's triangle location on Santa Monica and Wiltshire between Downtown and the beach in the heart of Beverly Hills gives the hotel an advantage regardless of facility. For the rooms were great and have a balcony which may not matter to today's traveler but was a status in the 80's and 90's. Finally, it still has those great common spaces that HOTELS used to have like a great rooftop bar. I get how it may not be the nicest and newest for everyone. However, the things that matter to me when traveling like location, rooms and amenities, this is a great place to stay. We had 6 couples on our trip, and everyone loved our stay here. Read less

I stayed here 5 years ago and it is not as nice as I remembered. The staff were friendly but the hotel is shabby. The common areas appeared taken care of but the rooms are less than appealing. The bathroom floor was filthy - hair, etc. I don't mean a few hairs - a lot. I think they missed cleaning the floor when I arrived. The bathroom mirror had… Read more

The bathroom floor was filthy - hair, etc. I don't mean a few hairs - a lot. I think they missed cleaning the floor when I arrived. The bathroom mirror had a large crack, the nearby shower wall looked like its had water damage for a while. The towels were torn - I'd be embarrassed to put them out for my own guests. Based on the condition of the room, I chose not to eat here because I figured if the room was shabby was else was neglected. Instead I ate next door at the Waldorf. I was disappointed with the Beverly Hilton. Read less

It’s been almost 20 years since I’ve been to LA for anything more than a layover at LAX. Daughter wanted to check out UCLA and since she is totally spoiled we brought her out. Stayed here at The Beverly Hilton. The first person we came in contact with was Flame. She completely rocked. She was obviously friendly and definitely has people skills. We were feeling a little out of place due to the Bugattis and Rolls Royces in the valet area. She upgraded us to a suite due to some circumstances that would take far too long to explain on this review. But let’s just say she made us midwesterners feel comfortable and at home. She had a sense of humor and a way about her that was calming. Thanks Flame. As the for hotel. As you might expect it ain’t “cheap” but it sure was fun to live the high life for a couple days. The room was clean and comfortable and we had an awesome view. We splurged and had room service for breakfast. The man who brought our breakfast was also quite funny and regaled us with some generic stories about the hotel and famous guests. I wish I could remember his name. He shared nothing inappropriate but just expressed the crazy of Hollywood and the Wild Wild West. It was fun. If our daughter ends up going to UCLA I hope to see this hotel frequently in the future. Thank you for not making us feel out of place. Read less
