The hotel

One of North Conway’s newest hotels, the Hampton Inn offers extremely comfortable accommodation in a glorious setting, just 5 miles from Attitash, one of the East’s top ten ski resorts. Getting your day off to a great start is the complimentary Hampton breakfast, giving you energy galore to tackle the many and varied runs. There’s also an incredible terrain park for the snowboarding crew plus the White Mountain National Forest to explore. Swap the white stuff for the blue stuff and spend a day at the hotel’s very own indoor water park with slides and water features for the little ones - a great snow alternative which is sure to prove extremely popular. Set in 700,000 acres of White Mountain National Forest with tax-free shopping and a whole range of restaurants and local attractions. A 10-minute drive to Mount Cranmore, 50 minutes to Bretton Woods and 60 minutes to Loon. Driving time from Boston Logan International Airport: 2 hours 35 minutes.

Studio Suites have an ample sized living area, with 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, or 2 queen-size beds and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

1-Bedroom Suites are larger and have a separate living room, with 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

The only 2 reasons I gave this hotel a positive review is for the staff and the location: great/good. Otherwise, I would not recommend. Very dirty, needs deep cleaning and updating. Waterpark is very small, limited. Many other places to choose from in the area.

We found out via phone call when we were about an hour away that the slides were not working - fine, disappointing, but fine as we knew it was out of their control. Gotta say, we did not have the best experience. We found out via phone call when we were about an hour away that the slides were not working - fine, disappointing, but fine as we knew it was out of their control. Upon arrival, the pool reservation system was explained and it really stinks...we were out on planned excursions every day at the 3pm sign up and therefore didn't get evening slots and poor AM times. If a system like this needs to be in place, please make it digital so you don't have to plan your vacation around pool sign ups! When we were actually at the pool - be warned it is COLD. Even our hearty NH kids were quite chilled. The pool staff were very unfriendly when asked about the temp and said it was 85...randomly a Dad also visiting the property had a water thermometer in his work truck and it was reading 75, which is really chilly. And there was water in the 50's coming into the pool all the time from a random faucet. Not fun. Otherwise, the hotel is fine. I will say, when we checked in we asked about compensation for the slides not working and said all they could offer was a free cancellation (we were already there with our whole family). Then, we ran into neighbors from home who told us they got $100 night taken off their bill. If you are going to offer discounts due to inconveniences, be transparent and offer it across the board. After hearing this, I went to the same front desk rep and she did give me money off as well...but don't make your customers work for it. That's not cool! All in all, we won't likely return which is a bummer as we were seeking out a spot to make our standard Feb. vaca spot for coming years. Read less

The pool and water park is only open during limited windows that you have to sign up for at 3:00pm the day before. After searching the website they can be found under “our policies”. After waiting in line you are hoping the time you need or want is available. If it’s a busy weekend they are not willing to accommodate you at the pool Door. This process does not work if you are skiing or unable to make it back to the hotel for 3. Many familiars we met along (including mine) were not aware of the rules which left many kids unhappy and disappointed. We also called prior to booking and asked about the water park/pool and the staff did not mention or explain the pool Policy. If we had known we could have stayed at a nicer hotel for much cheaper and let the kids swim when and however long they wanted. You are also unable to use the pool and just swim even when the water park is shut down unless during a specific time frame. Read less

The water park was so much fun!!! Really impressed by how friendly the staff and fellow guests were there. My room was perfect and super clean. The breakfast was also a highlight. Walking distance to some great restaurants and shops to explore! I had a beautiful view right out my window and watched the sunrise with the mountain backdrop.
