Here’s our picks for you:
This is your ticket to fun, which gives you the most flexibility for everything Walt Disney World has to offer. Space travel, runaway trains and haunted houses are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg… and there’s even a few of those to see at Blizzard Beach too.
You’ve got countless opportunities for dining and shopping, plus a huge range of activities from golf to relaxing spas. It’s easy to see how this holiday of a lifetime has something for everyone and every occasion.
Cirque du Soleil Nouba Show
Sit back, relax, and take in the spectacle that is Cirque du Soleil. As darkness falls, enjoy a dazzling, acrobatic display like you’ve never seen before. Marvel at a spectacular cast of performers from around the world as they perform glorious feats of incredible strength and daring beauty.
The show’s name comes from the French phrase “faire la nouba,” which translates as “to live it up”… and do they ever! A love story told from a bamboo pole, suspended in mid-air? Check. A breakdancing extravaganza of power moves? You got it. Classic circus acts, with all the trimmings? You’ve got it all! Head on over to the west side of Disney Springs to take advantage of this captivating show.
Orlando has an abundance of world-class shopping malls for all tastes and budgets. So feel free to devour some amazing deals at Orlando International Premium Outlets, or go on a spending spree at the exquisite Mall at Millenia, or hunt for the latest trends in the epic Florida Mall and emerge laden with great gifts. If you’re looking for that set of Levis, or a decent set of new shoes, you’ll always find someone to help you pick out what you’re after.
International Drive is renowned for its offering of quality shops to wander around, but it’s also perfect for that sought after variety that you’re craving. Indulge in a little (more) retail therapy, and take a tour around ‘The Strip of Orlando’ to revel in its other delights – Madame Tussauds, pirate dinners and the Orlando Eye spring to mind!
You’ve plummeted, whooshed, shrieked, looped and shopped your way through Florida already. Now it’s time to make a splash!
Disney's Blizzard Beach is pretty cool (sorry), with plenty to keep you busy for a good portion of the day. It’s worth spending the morning here to chill out, before heading back to your hotel and then onto an evening show or some of the late night attractions. Definitely get your feet wet with Teamboat Springs; a nice easy downward slip-and-slide for groups and families.
Then there’s Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, with its own style of adventures on offer. Brave the amazing swells in the azure-blue Surf Pool, or hold on for your life on the Crush n’ Gusher – the only water coaster of its kind in Central Florida. If you need a little something for the little ones, Ketchakiddee Creek is perfect for your pint-sized progenies.
