The new Orlando adventure

Cinderella Castle Magic Kingdom Park - Walt Disney World Resort

It’s time to tear up the Orlando Holiday rulebook. Thanks to the latest flexible theme park tickets that let you pop in and out of your favourites throughout your stay, and smart, pre-bookable queue-jumping, you can have your Key lime pie and eat it, with a perfect blend of exhilaration and relaxation for everyone.

Want proof? Here’s a sample itinerary to whet your appetite. And how about this for a rousing call to action? Give us 14 days and you’ll be amazed at how chilled experiencing so much can feel...

Day 1

Welcome to Orlando! As it’s your first day, we suggest you take it easy and — ha! As if. Today is perfect for a visit to the theme park that started it all — Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. We don’t care how old you are; approaching Cinderella Castle for the first time is a special kind of exciting. Full of (magic) beans? Use Disney FastPass+ to guarantee time slots at your wish-list rides and attractions. Flagging mid-afternoon? No problem. With Disney’s Ultimate Tickets, you can return to your favourite parks whenever you like during your holiday. So why not head back to your hotel and chill by the pool?

Day 2

We’re setting the alarm this morning, but don’t worry, this is a one-off and we’ve got great reasons. You can enjoy most of the big attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in half a day. What’s more, by arriving early doors you’ll not only have the park to yourself (relatively speaking), but you can book yourself on to an early Kilimanjaro Safari using one of your allocated FastPass+ selections. You’ll also see the animals at their most active (before it gets too hot). After a full morning, we recommend a refreshing dip in your hotel pool before setting off for a wander around the new Disney Springs shopping and entertainment district.

Day 3

Being the #1 tour operator to Florida, we’re full of pro tips, and this is a biggie: pace yourself. We promise you’ll be glad you did. Relaxing at your resort hotel does two things: it lets you recharge between full-on days, and it gives you the chance to really explore all your hotel has to offer. Why not give the day an extra flourish by using Disney FastPass+ to book a private viewing area for Epcot’s breathtaking Illuminations: Reflections of Earth firework display, in the evening?

Day 4

Between them, Universal Studios Florida™, Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ and Universal’s Volcano Bay™ water theme park, offer so much to see and do for the whole family that a full day of rides, splashy fun, and photo ops with film and cartoon characters is definitely on the cards. If you’re staying at a Universal Orlando™ Resort hotel, you’ll want to take advantage of your complimentary Early Park Admission (and free transportation to and from the parks). Of course, though, when it comes to moving between Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, the only way to travel is by Hogwarts™ Express. Oh, and as you steam out of the station, you may want to congratulate yourself on getting the Universal Orlando™ 3-Park Explorer ticket when you booked your holiday — entry to all three Universal parks throughout your stay for the price of two. Now that’s magic, right there.

Day 5

Having Universal Orlando™ Park Explorer tickets, you could go straight back to Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ today, but there’s loads of holiday left, so we’re all about a relaxing morning by the pool, followed by a spot of lunch and an atmospheric afternoon-to-evening trip back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park to enjoy the spectacular new Avatar: Flight of Passage (pre-booked using FastPass+, of course). And, as night falls, gather your tribe around the majestic Tree of Life and crown the day by watching Rivers of Light, a mesmerising new night time show.

Day 6

Shopping — if it’s practically an art form for you, then somewhere between the Mall of Millennia, The Florida Mall, and Orlando International Premium Outlets (to name just a few store-filled options) today is the day to create your masterpiece. Some of your group not into retail therapy? Easy — a return to Magic Kingdom Park will satisfy the purchase-averse, and you can all meet up for an evening meal at Disney Springs, Disney’s food, retail and entertainment district.

Day 7

How do you celebrate an unforgettable first week in Orlando? May we humbly suggest you don your cossies and have a blast at a water park? Disney steps up to the plate with two — the exhilarating, ski-themed Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, and the super-fun Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. But then there’s Universal Orlando Resort’s all-new Volcano Bay (which is all sorts of amazing at night when the fiery peak is lit up). Choices, choices.

Day 8

It’s the half-way point in your Orlando adventure, and now that you’re theme park veterans, it’s time to step up a gear with a spectacular full day of rides and attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And because you’ve got your Ultimate Tickets (well done, you), you’ll maximise your fun throughout by using FastPass+ to cut the queues at the biggest and best of them.

Day 9

Feeling refreshed? Spend the evening ticking off more wonderful attractions and rides at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure, with a delicious detour to Universal CityWalk for a bite, a few drinks, and an unforgettable stroll in this lively entertainment district.

Day 10

Have an evening visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to ooh and aah at the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks display.

Day 11

Relaxation is on the cards, today, so have a lie-in, a leisurely breakfast, and then either bask in the Floridian sunshine by your hotel pool or, if you’re bursting to get out there, step into your swimsuit and step to whichever of the big four water parks you’ve yet to visit. And then, after a day of flumes, lazy rivers and lilting wave pools, a bit of dinner and (maybe) a spot of souvenir buying at Universal CityWalk will round off day 11 nicely.

Day 12

Epcot’s evening show is legendary, but don’t think we’ve forgotten about the rest of this iconic park’s other amazing rides and attractions. Today’s the day to do Epcot from top to bottom and to help you do that, here’s a pro tip: be sure to use your FastPass+ to book a time slot at Soarin’ and Test Track in advance. With those locked in, you’re free to explore the rest of Disney’s Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow at your leisure.

Day 13

We have a weakness for the classics, so in our taster itinerary, we’re going to spend the last full day of our Ultimate Tickets to return to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park concluding with the Happily Ever After firework show over Cinderella Castle. But, hey, at this point in your Orlando adventure you’ll have your own favourite. Whatever it is, have an incredible final day — a personalised greatest hits package of ‘coasters, attractions and shows.

Day 14

In our book, the last day of a holiday need never be a wasted day. Chances are you won’t need to make for the airport until about 3:00pm, so we’d check out after breakfast and hit one more park (you’ll know which one by now). Or, if you haven’t bought gifts for the peeps back home (or yourself) yet, head to Disney Springs for some light shopping, food and drinks before it’s time to go.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.

We'll be in touch soon

To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
