A grateful thumbs up to Housekeeper Bee (not 100% sure about her name) who understood and took the initiative to introduce us how to use the alarm clock as a speaker while Front Office that we called on that purpose never mentioned us this dual use. This kind of "Wow extra service" needs for sure to be underligned! We deeply enjoyed the massive breakfast with an impressive ranch of food and drinks. Tough a simple refreshing of the "bottom tent" might be to consider. Idyllic location facing a picturesque beach, 10mn away from the airport. Read less

The Best Resort where i've ever been. We stayed for 9 nights in Pool access villa and it was perfect for us! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome: you can find anything from fresh fruits to french toasts made by a chef, from sushi to poached/scrambled eggs and omelettes. Managers available every morning at the breakfast. I have no doubts they would do their utmost to fulfill your wishes if you have any special ones or to solve your problems, if you had any. Gym was better than i thought from the hotel pictures! With cold towels and fresh fruits it was A luxury workout every Day there. Not too crowded at all there, most of th time i was there by myself or maybe 1 or 2 other. I was able to do a proper workout. Tree top restaurant was awesome. Yes, pricey but its a once-in-a-lifetimegexperience with that view, brilliant wines and excellent fine dining experience. Most of the Attached Food pictures are from that Dinner. Villa dining worked out well as well and was very good. All bars were staffed with professionals, we tried cocktails in all of them. On the Beach you can do activities for free (such as stand up padling). Rooms were clean and tidy. I have absolutely Nothing to complain. Thousands of thanks for the perfect holiday! Highly recommended for the one Who values quality. Read less

Once again we booked 10 nights in a Deluxe Plunge Pool Room from late April to Early May and through prior organising with the Anantara Lawana management we seamlessly got our previous room from 2018 which we like immensely. Check in was easy with Sunny who was both informative and helpful about our returning stay. The room was just how we left it, very clean with all the amenities you would expect from a five star hotel. We sunbathe every day on the best sunbathing deck I have ever seen in a hotel with fantastic views into the Gulf of Thailand, Whilst the hotel is both beautiful with the most amazing infinity pool and gorgeous beach with crystal clear waters it is the management and staff that sets this hotel head and shoulders above the rest. Santi has a great team working the beach area organising sunbeds, pool snacks and drinks etc, his guys Tony, Moo, Oh, Yong and Sorn who work tirelessly in making your stay special and are very eager to help and converse with you. We use the Ocean Kiss restaurant every day during our ten day stay where Kate has a great team of Honey, Mind, Rus and Yui who are very professional and engaging. The food is of the highest quality by day serving international food, pizza, pasta, burgers, light Thai foods and by night it turns into Mai Pai where the food could be considered a little pricey however it is Thai food of the highest quality in generous servings which you can appreciate paying that little extra. It has to be said it is worth trying anything prawn in here as the prawns are the freshest I have ever tasted and are rather large which is great. Alternatively you can visit Crab Shack and eat all the seafood you desire freshly cooked to order which I would recommend the Asian Crab cakes. Whilst we were this year it was my birthday so we treat ourselves to a night at the Tree Tops restaurant who has a new Croatian chef who is creating a whole new experience where we had Lobster starter and Sea Bass mains which was sublime. I was surprised by a happy birthday cake and song off the waiting staff which made it very special indeed, a nice touch too that the chef comes round to check you have enjoyed the food. All in all it was another classic holiday made so special by the management and staff who are all very attentive and engaging from Dylan the General Manager throughout the whole team. Attention is paid to detail here and you just feel these guys want you to stay here and respect you for doing so. We are already planning next years 4th visit. Read less

Hotel was well maintained and location is good and very accessible. Our stay was made even more pleasant as Sunny the front desk manager assisted us with the AC problems and even went the extra mile to show us a few rooms until we were satisfied. Great hospitality by all their staff and also very helpful with all our requests.

We stayed here, couple + 10 months old baby for our anniversary. It was our first stop Arriving in Thailand. The resort is amazing, green and big. Staff was very nice, we were picked from Samui airport by overpriced hotel transfer. Everything was simply amazing except for a couple of things- 1. Restaurants don't have Air Conditioning It's nice and all, breakfast was great... But it's so hot that I was sweating on my plate. The staff were also all sweaty and it felt wrong. 2. Tree Tops dinner restaurant - completely overpriced... Like 3-4 times it's worth. It's a nice atmosphere, but no AC either and tons of mosquitoes. 3. Water pressure was a bit on the weaker side. 4. It's hard to get by with a baby stroller in this heat. But they do have a buggy when you call them, which was a bit more helpful. Normally I would give a 4 star for the non air-conditioned restaurants... But I decided that maybe it's us that cannot adapt... So I can easily recommend to people who can live with these cons. Thanks, Dor Read less
