Would highly recommend to stay here and capture the old world charm of Havana. Read less

This is a hotel that should be rated 1 star. Nothing to write home about except way in the past dignitaries and stars stayed there. Grounds are not maintained and ugly. Burnt out! Prices are over the too such as a small bottle of water 3 CUC/Dollar. Don't waste your time! Nothing to see!

Food and drinks are adequate. Very recommended hotel but be ready to deal with very very very slow service. Read less

The Nacional is a cool place for a night in Havana. The opera and other classical music is a little surreal, rooms are small but nice enough, service is slowwww (especially checkout), outside bar and seating is comfortable and relaxing. Overall a pleasant experience but in real need of some efficiency and updates in some areas.

Nice stay but not what it used to be... (and not talking 1930-ies but 15 years or so ago). Highly recommended ; private tour for guests at 10.00 in the morning, with look at the rooftop, the former casino and some special (mafia) rooms.
