Beach House Suites by The Don CeSar

St Pete Beach, Clearwater & St Pete

The hotel

The cool little sister to the famous The Don CeSar Hotel, Beach House Suites gives you access to all the luxuries of the main hotel, with the sumptuousness of a more secluded all-suite beach retreat. Its poolside tiki bar provides sunbathing snacks, but you also get full access to the dining and drinking venues at The Don CeSar Hotel, including its ice cream shop; The Rowe Bar, with coastal cuisine and cocktails served on a deck over sand dunes; and Maritana Grille, voted one of USA Today’s 10 best restaurants.

Overall had a fabulous time and Fabien & Amy were both so accommodating and nice! Bathrooms are readily available by the pool and such a short walk to the beach. Rooms were clean, spacious and perfect for families traveling with little ones. They even offer cribs and pack & plays at no add’l charge. Parking is very convenient; costs $22 per night though. Hotel is close to many restaurants and Publix grocery store. Direct view rooms of the Gulf are totally worth it! Read less

We stayed at the Don CeSar suites for 5 nights. There was 3 of us - our son of 11 years old. The suites were not cheap but the hotel was fully booked and we thought these would be good. The suites are ok but what really annoyed me was there was only one big bed and our son had to sleep on a sofa bed! He hated it so we alternated it and it was so uncomfortable. The rest of the suite was ok but small. Didn’t use the pool at the suites but walked up the beach to the hotel. Plenty of activities and staff Read less

Go see Fabian. Fabulous service and best beach view possible. Great day bed with lots of attention to detail. Truly enjoyed our stay and had a great view. Fabian had our bed ready each day prior to us arriving. What a fantastic few days.

This place was great. After a very brutally cold winter where I’m from, I needed a warm relaxing, quiet vacation on the beach. I did not want to walk far or have to drive to the beach. Found this place after much research & it met my criteria. The welcome was friendly & very professional from Charlie at the front desk. I recommend contacting them right before arrival so you can get help with luggage etc if you need it. It was a little confusing because when we arrived the office is up above the parking level on the 1st floor tucked away but by the elevators. The suite was roomy & appointed well. The one thing I recommend is a mirror in the bedroom. But they had 2 huge mirrors in the living area. We loved sitting on the balcony having our coffee in the am with our beautiful view of the pool & the beach. They also provide beach service which provides 2 lounge chairs & an umbrella. If you have ever had to pay for that you know how expensive it can be! We loved that when went down to the beach the guys got our chairs and play star umbrella where we wanted it and were super nice and friendly I feel bad because we didn’t tip them so make sure you bring some cash when you go to the beach because these guys work really hard and were so super nice!! Before booking make sure you know about the parking fees & Florida taxes & fees & also the resort fee to factor into your budget. The beach is so clean and beautiful. Powdery white sand! Blue water!! I miss it already!! Read less
