We spent Mother’s Day weekend and my daughters sweet 16 weekend at RumFish. Patrick and Jason took the absolute best care of us at the sandbar! None stop service and they were amazing! We will be back!

Housekeeping didn’t vacuum, threw sheets on top of the blankets, or just threw cover over sheets which had pooled to bottom of the bed… instead of making the bed. Toilet was plugged and housekeeping wasn't available until 8 o’clock and then they forgot to send anyone … was past noon and we still had no plumbing on checkout day. Front desk was not helpful and were unprofessional (rude). They do not post when mini golf is open, when zip lines were open, available activity schedules are not printed. Paddle boats are worn and get stuck in the water ways. Service people don’t know schedules or where things are located. Its hard to find someone who knows the schedule for open activities. Many don’t speak English. Help is spread thin. Rooms and facilities are worn and not maintained well. Read less

Extremely disappointed in the room. Nearly 500 per night for a closet with a parking ramp view. Going rate at the time of arrival was approximately half, so feel extremely taken advantage of at this point and sorry I booked a couple months before arrival. Will not return to any place I feel lacks basic integrity. Be very careful when… Read more

Our stay was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nicole@perksup was great! We seen her almost daily dealing with some pretty picky and impatient people! She took it all in stride, smiled and offered great service!!!

There are a few fundamental things to get right if you are a hotel. Unfortunately Rumfish Beach resort failed with these. We booked a standard family room with two beds. Each bed was tiny (width). For the $ rate of this hotel I would expect wider beds. Secondly, the adjacent hotel pumped out loud bass music until 1am. These two things meant that for every night of our stay we did not sleep well. To add insult to injury, because our room was so close to reception, we were woken at 7 am every morning too. Of course I asked to move rooms, but the only option was to move to a King Suite for an additional $150 per night. There were lots of other minor issues with the hotel e.g. lack of charm on check in and check out (nobody asked us how our stay had been - clearly guest satisfaction isn’t a high priority), trying to have time share sold to you on arrival, the phone not working, long lines for breakfast and lunch... The only positive was a lovely man called Zema who came to fix the safe. He seemed to be the only member of staff to genuinely care about the guest experience and was clearly embarrassed by the poor ones we had had, so much so that he gave us breakfast vouchers. Sadly, when we went to use them, we got bumped twice in the line and when we finally did order, having already waited about 25 minutes for a table, it took a further 40 minutes for a not-very-fresh fruit salad and a breakfast burrito to arrive. The $45 plus tax daily amenity fee was also not worth the value. The hotel lists a variety of fees that justify the charge so it feels like you are getting value. But many of these are hotel basics. Wi-Fi $15 per day, in room safe $2, coffee in room $5, gym access $20 per day etc. The cabana rental was valued at $30 - but only one per room. The location was good, right on the beach and some lovely restaurants nearby. See our review of Snappers. Overall a very disappointing end to our 16 night visit to the US. I will feedback to our travel agent who recommended this hotel to not book people at Rumfish St Pete Beach. Read less
