Front desk staff was nice. It was very difficult to hear because of COVID barriers and the amount of people allowed in the lobby. While we waited to check-in because we had arrived early, we spent time at Harry’s. The food was wonderful and the staff there, too. The room: 2 uncomfortable beds, a fridge and TV. *No iron, ironing board, microwave, coffee maker (we requested one and it was never delivered). The bathroom is due for a renovation...very small, toilet was unstable. Maybe that is why most of the hotel bathrooms are not pictured when selecting a room online. We did not have enough towels on the first day. The next morning, we called to request more towels. The 3rd day, we requested to have the room cleaned and fresh towels again. We were informed that rooms are cleaned every four days due to COVID. But, they would bring more towels. Beach: The room might not have been what we expected, but there’s the beach! We placed our things next to our complementary chairs (coolers, towel bags, snacks etc) and we finally started to set up our umbrella. The boys working on the beach spotted the umbrella base going into the sand LIKE A HAWK! We were quickly told we could not set up an umbrella near the complementary Sirata chairs. We had to either rent one of their umbrellas, a cabana or move. Since the heat index in Fl has been close to or over 100°, baking in a complementary chair was not an option (especially when we had our own chairs....in the car). So we moved all of our belongings and set up closer to the beach on city property. *I wouldn’t have minded paying for an umbrella, but it was the approach. Also, why provide complementary chairs and no umbrellas? From our spot, I saw this happen numerous times during the day throughout our stay. *pool is closed due to COVID, but guests are still able to use tables and lounge chairs. Read less

The pros: Any staff we interacted with were nice, especially Mike and Bill at the beach and Tasha at the bar. The beach area is fantastic and I do appreciate that chairs were included in resort fees. The food at Harry's Beach Bar was great. There was a wonderful safety manager overseeing the grounds and helped a family member when she locked herself out of a room. He seemed so eager to help. The cons: Our room was not ready until 7:28pm, 3.5 hours after check-in. If I were in management here, I'd be providing some kind of personal call or hotel amenity for that major delay, but no one even said sorry. It was matter of fact. Disappointing. We stayed in an "oceanfront" suite, which really was more of a resort view with some ocean views in the background. The room was a little beat up: missing a fridge knob to control the temperature, a sliding glass door that was missing a safety pin, an AC handler that was hanging down above the bathroom sink, and some mildew dots on the ceiling. I let a manager know by text so that these items could be fixed. We also had one hand towel to work with; at least two or three for a suite would be helpful, especially when regular hand-washing is needed at this time. All around, they seemed understaffed with anything related to the actual hotel. For the price point, I just expected more. I wanted to like Sirata based on friends' recommendations, but I think they're still going through re-opening pains. We won't be back. Read less

We booked two rooms for my wife and I and my dtr her hubby and three grand kids. The kids loved it. We were all amazed at how well kept and beautiful the campus is. Great staff, nice private front beach, cool pools and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back. Already let our friends know!

It was so much fun to see them on the beach! Read less
