Sunset Vista sits on the ocean. Very nice area. Each unit is owned by individual and the decor will be different. Our unit was nice but sofa was worn out It was a sleeper sofa used allot we couldn't even get the cushions to fluff up. very uncomfortable, Hopefully the owners will replace ASAP. It was nice to have an assigned parking spot.

We were meeting family and chose Sunset Vistas a year ago but the pandemic forced us to cancel. They were so understanding and accommodating. We finally went and it is a wonderful place to stay. Right on the beach! The condo was so clean! We do not have any complaints. Close to John’s Pass and other restaurants. The pool is nice also.

We just took a family trip and stayed for about a week. What was great about our stay here was this: great location right on the beach but also within 20 min walk to Johns Pass and other places to eat/hang out (although a lot of places were closed during the week, only open wknds or other hours, I assume due to labor shortages?), great parking (you can see your car from your room!), good security on site (felt safe even with late hours), good visitor/guest parking, the grounds outside are immaculate (no trash at all, very well kept) and the beach access is great (complete with station to rinse sand off feet). Everything works, nothing is broken. The courtyard is very beautiful and makes for a nice little walk/pictures. Cafe on site has limited hours but food was good (lunch for family of 4 was 40-50$). I think the cafe had a few convenicent type items for sale but the Walmart was close and had great local options. Beach umbrellas/chairs available for rent (third party company on beach). What was great about the room itself, it was awesome to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. All of those appliances were newer and worked well (washer was a little loud but worked well). The kitchen sink was a little iffy, almost like the spray handle needed to be replaced, but that was it. The air conditioning was GREAT too, very col and very quiet. Kitchen has plates, pots, utensils. Ceiling fans in each room, lots of lighting options. The balcony is a little odd in that you can turn your head and easily see other guests but it didn't bother us much. What could be improved about our stay was this: We had an incident where the previous guest/housekeeper/maintenance had broken glass of some type in the master bath and I was cut several times by it on accident, and we found shards of glass in the bathroom/bedroom. I handled this with the front desk, but moral of the story is that the rooms could have been cleaner. Bedding/sheets/pillows were good, but carpet/floor could have been cleaner (bring house shoes so your feet don't get dirty). There was also construction going on, replacing toilets, flooring, etc, and this caused some random loud noises during the day. I wish we would have been told about this construction because it would have been good to prepare (ear plugs etc). I'm not sure if I would stay here again or not, but if you don't mind dirty floors (aside from the broken glass incident) the grounds are beautiful and the beach access is OUTSTANDING, that beach cannot be beat!! The cafe: quaint and the two guys that work there were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The food was very good for a diner style and they accommodated us for anything we needed. The beach is beautiful, Which is why we wanted to come here. The bad: We did not have a great view of the water- I should know better when it says gulf view- we were placed on the 2nd floor that showed mostly the parking lot. And we were told it couldn’t be changed? Now the weird: everything was on the edge of the covered parking lot! The walkway to the beach and the tiki bar were right at the edge of it. The bar was actually in it. It just didn’t make you want to sit and stay. The bartenders were great though. There was a small courtyard in the center but felt very closed in from either side of the lots. Not to mention a wedding was taking place right in the courtyard where the music was blasting for everyone to hear. There were also several condos being worked on during the day that was annoying. The pools- also in a strange location off to the sides like an afterthought. The size was nice. It could also use some cleaning. The overall design is very quirky. If I were looking to buy a condo here I would walk away. We had a great time despite the quirkiness. Read less

We checked in and we were greeted with a smile and all our questions were answered. We came to our room and it was fabulous, no need for the Clorox wipes, even the floors were clean which is a hard feat at the beach when sand is everywhere. I checked the sheets and the beds, no bugs…clean as could be. The pool area is what I would expect for a hotel this size, it is not as small as I feared after reading some reviews. The Tiki Bar closed at 11 during the week so I can’t speak to it being loud all night on the weekends but I can tell you I slept with out slider open and wasn’t disturbed by noise. Overall…it’s great and I will come back…I had a lot of anxiety for no reason at all!! Read less
