The Don Cesar

St Pete Beach, Clearwater and St Pete

The hotel

The stomping ground of celebrities past and present (think F Scott Fitzgerald in earlier years and Justin Timberlake more recently), The Don CeSar Hotel is regarded as Florida’s legendary Pink Palace. Registered with the Historic Hotels of America, it effortlessly blends the Great Gatsby era of pampering with modern European grandeur. Picture-perfect in every way, the beach is a wonderful place to relax or indulge in a variety of exciting water sports – kite surfing anyone? There are also 2 beautifully furnished beachfront swimming pools to take advantage of, so grab a good book and some sun cream and enjoy! Whilst you’re busy, chilling out or enjoying a pampering session at the spa perhaps, the kids will be having at ball at Camp Cesar. Enjoy the family-friendly touches – there are kid’s menus and even a cupboard full of toys to play with! Even a dedicated retail shop carrying all the essentials to keep kids and teens happy and active. At Camp Cesar, however, they’ll have the time of their lives, participating in beach crafts, seashell hunting, castle contests and pool games. Dine around The Don at one of our many restaurants or lounges. Enjoy dining al fresco for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner at Sea Porch, experience an exquisite evening at Maritana Grille, or take in the stunning sunset views with coastal cuisine and cool cocktails at Rowe Bar.

What a wonderful great away for us! Definitely looking forward to returning soon! We felt very special from the moment we stepped into the lobby. Everyone was so knowledgeable and accommodating! The spa treatment was definitely what the two grand needed! It was hard going back to the real world!

Stayed at the Don CeSar on a girls trip. Not sure if it was the time of year I was visiting since this was my first visit , but this hotel certainly attracts some unique folks. The service was extremely slow at the restaurants but the hotel itself was beautiful. I would probably stay somewhere else next time!

A huge chunk of drywall also fell out of the bathroom ceiling and it was not repaired for 6 days. I brought it to the attention of the General Manager and wasn’t even offered an apology. I was told they are understaffed. I didn’t receive the service you would expect while staying in a penthouse suite that cost over $3k per night. If your looking for a relaxing vacation. This is not the place. The place is dirty. Read less
