Disney's Blizzard Beach

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park – ‘tons of fun’ is just the tip of the iceberg

What’s better than one Disney Water Park? Two of them! Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park in Florida is the sister Park of the nearby Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, but instead of a wind-ravaged tropical paradise, this Park’s innovative theme is a chilly one!

It’s part of the magnificent Walt Disney World Resort, so you know what to expect – fun, fun, and more fun.

Please note: Disneys Blizzard Beach water park is temporarily unavailable due to imagineering. Disneys Typhoon Lagoon water park remains open!

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Food and Drink

There’s plenty of place to stop and recharge your batteries:

  • Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Freshments – this counter-service eatery delivers when it comes to tasty treats. The Orange Swirl Cone is tangy, while the kids will love the cheesy nachos.
  • Mini Donuts – What’s better than doughnuts? Lots of mini doughnuts that are perfect for little fingers and rumbly tums.
  • Lottawatta Lodge – Complete with skis and a bit of yodel-ay-hee-hoo, this Alpine ski lodge serves up a mouth-watering selection of speciality burgers, chicken dishes, chefs salads and much more.
  • Avalunch – Try some speciality hot dogs and other tasty snacks including salads

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park map and information

Although this Disney Water Park may be smaller than its cousins elsewhere in the Resort, a map is always useful for finding your way around.

You can either use the maps that are dotted around the Park, ask for a paper map when you enter, or play it smart and go online and download the My Disney Experience app **.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is open from 10am to 8pm during summer months and 10am to 5pm in the colder months, seven days a week.

Because all Water Parks need a higher level of maintenance and repair to keep them running in tip-top condition, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Parks may occasionally be closed for routine repairs. During that time, you’ll find its sister park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, will be open for business as usual. Maintenance usually takes place during the autumn and winter months.

The Park may also close occasionally due to adverse weather conditions, particularly during hurricane season.

Some rides may not be suitable for young children and will have a height restriction on them. If you’re not sure, simply ask any of the friendly Park staff and they’ll be able to advise you.

*Disney’s 7-Day Magic Tickets expire 15 days from the first day of use and Disney’s 14-Day Magic Ticket expires 18 days from the first day of use. For child tickets, children must be aged 3-9 at the time of use.

The Memory Maker window will end upon the sooner of either the expiration or depletion of the Park ticket.

If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

You're holiday is going ahead as planned

Thank you for your patience and understanding

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.

We'll be in touch soon

To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.

I returned early from holiday and have further questions?
