In Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area, close to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Transfer time from Orlando International Airport: 30 minutes.

Waterview Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 in a cot.

King Bed Rooms with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child, plus one child under 3 in a cot.

Preferred Rooms have views of the lake, courtyard or parking area and are near to El Centro, dining and shopping areas and transportation. They offer 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 in a cot.

Gran Destino Tower:

Tower - Standard View with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 in a cot.

We stayed in the tower at Coronado Springs last month. The rooms are impeccably clean, large, and comfortable. We had 3 rooms, and check in was a breeze as 3 cast members worked to get us in quickly and in close proximity of each other. This is the largest resort in Disney meaning you cannot walk to your room unless you stay in the main tower. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the other rooms and after 8-10 miles of walking at the parks, or if you’re injured or disabled, it’s very inaccessible. This is the largest resort in Disney meaning you cannot walk to your room unless you stay in the main tower. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the other rooms and after 8-10 miles of walking at the parks, or if you’re injured or disabled, it’s very inaccessible. Bell services can take you via golf cart however this has to be requested, you have to tip (they literally told me to), and it always seems like you’re asking for a huge favor whenever you ask for this service. It’s not an advertised service. If this place wants to maintain its large size, it needs to offer free and frequent rides. Golf carts should be running through the facilities making frequent designated stops. Unfortunately, staying in the casitas, I did not get to eat at any resort restaurants or enjoy any amenities. Additionally, you need an Uber to get to universal or non Disney places which is fine, but the Ubers are not allowed to enter the gates into you room area. Meaning they pick you up and drop you off at the lobby and you have to walk or be a nuisance and request a golf cart ride and tip. With this level of inconvenience, I would’ve rather reserved an Air BNB and Uber to the parks. We didn’t enjoy any benefits of staying in a Disney resort sadly. The advertising does no adequately convey any of this to future customers. Read less

Lovely hotel, we stayed in the tower and had access to the Club lounge. The hotel is lovely with good pools and grounds. We didn’t try the restaurants as we had Club access. The Club lounge was good and the staff very helpful and upbeat but there was pretty much the same food everyday, e.g melon and grapes and the same cookies. I had read on previous occasions that when it was someone’s birthday they gave presents or decorated your room this was not done for my child. Perhaps, they don’t do this anymore but as it’s Club you expect a little something special not just a badge, perhaps even just a birthday card from Mickey would have been nice. We just returned from a two week holiday and loved it here. It is as everyone says excellent for a moderate resort. It is excellent. I loved the immaculately kept grounds and enjoyed walking around resort ( my husband enjoyed an early morning circuit or two around the lake). Loved all the pools but Ranchos was nice and peaceful and the towel supply was amazing. We ate in all restaurants but enjoyed Rix sports bar the most and drinks in Dalia Lounge. The fireworks view from here was spectacular. Our room was great, generous in size with comfortable beds and excellent housekeeping (really great Disney toiletries, even mouthwash!). We were in Casitas 5 which was perfect for bus stop 2. Absolutely the best place in my opinion. 2 minutes and you are on your Disney bus ( excellent system never had to wait, always such polite drivers-brilliant). We enjoyed the film and the stars on the lawn but didn’t try the sangria workshop ( just ran out of time). The greeting at reception was terrific and they made us feel so welcome the moment we stepped through the doors. Thank you to ever for an amazing stay. This is a brilliant hotel. Read less
