Having previously stayed at Grovnor House (which we loved) for our first visit to Dubai, we stayed here instead as we wanted a chilled beach holiday, but with easy access to the Marina. Between the two venues there is a fantastic choice of restaurants and the buffet is the equivalent of that in The Grove Hotel, Watford. There is a designated desk to make bookings. Guests have full use of the Spa and there are lockers with robes and slippers in the changing rooms. The Spa staff are welcoming and I was given a discount voucher for a treatment. I booked a 90 min message which was glorious. Private Yoga classes are available with the lovely Fatma. She is a wonderful instructor. The gym is well equipped including a fridge of bottled water, protein drinks and cold towels. We stayed in the Club Tower and would recommend. Airport transfers are included in club rooms but you must book through the hotel. We were on the night flight from Heathrow so we arrived at the hotel by 10am, too early for our room to be ready. However our luggage was held in a secure room, we used the Spa changing rooms and availed of a light breakfast. Room was ready at around 12:30. As it was my birthday I had flowers sent to my room and a birthday cake. The full compliment of staff our amazing and so helpful. Had a wonderful holiday. Read less

We had an amazing stay at Le Royal Meridian. The room was incredible and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. We would like to mention one member of staff specifically - Fahad Sheharyar - who went above and beyond in terms of customer service and made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely be returning!!!

We’ve just returned from our first visit to Dubai and couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well. A beautiful hotel, right on the JBR beach and close to the marina. Luxurious but incredibly friendly. We had booked a room in the Club Tower so that we could take advantage of the Club Lounge facilities. This gave us a quieter option for breakfast, with a huge range of cooked and continental options and a great view across the hotel gardens. The lounge also included afternoon tea, another amazing spread which was far more than a ‘tea’. In the evenings, between 6pm - 8pm we could have complimentary alcoholic drinks and pre dinner snacks included in our upgrade. The choices were varied each day and the service in the lounge was excellent. We would definitely recommend the Club Room option. All the staff were incredibly attentive, without being obtrusive. Service throughout was 5 star. Included in our Club Room package was the the hotel’s butler service. Our thanks to Daniel L who looked after us so well. We knew he was on hand each day to help us with anything we needed, book our dinner reservations and generally make our holiday the best it could be. Unfortunately our first visit to Dubai was during the huge storms and flooding of 16 April. Although this was disappointing and did mean that we weren’t able to go out and visit some of the sights we had planned to see we could not fault how the hotel looked after us over this period and how much they had to contend with in such an unprecedented situation. Staff went above and beyond to keep things running as smoothly as possible and I’m sure all working many hours over their shifts due to roads being flooded and staff changes impossible. This was very much appreciated by all the guests. We would certainly consider another visit to Dubai and Le Royal Méridien would be our first choice. We’d like to thank all the staff for making our stay so memorable. Read less

We had to wait 4 hours at the airport for our taxi which was frustrating - until you saw the flooding and hundreds of cars stranded in the floods. We arrived at the hotel after our taxi driver having to take many diversions to avoid flooded roads after 2 hours and were shattered. It was surreal arriving at the hotel as it was like going from a disaster zone into paradise! We have stayed at the Atlantis Hotel previously, which obviously is an amazing hotel but wanted not to be isolated on the palm this time. I would say Le Méridien is in a perfect location in Dubai. Close to the marina, harbour and is on the beach front. The rooms are lovely, we were room 159 which had a lovely sea/harbour/city view. I found our room to be very clean and the guys who clean the rooms to be very helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel is actually amazing, especially Brasserie (buffet) I found the food lovely in there. I’m very fussy and found amazing choice and standard. We also ate at the steak restaurant (fantastic) and the Italian (lovely). There is always somewhere to sunbathe, there seems to be loads of sunbeds, from the beach front to the pool areas and again all very clean. We used the spa area (free) and had treatments which were very good. The member of staff of note was Saba who worked in The Brasserie restaurant. We had 3 rooms and she remembered the numbers off by heart. Really friendly lady. We’ve had a lovely stay, thank you Le Meridian ☺️ Read less
