Would like to single our a few who are outstanding, Nek at the Sunset Bar who has looked after us every visit we have made, Feruk in the main restaurant outstanding service, is like a family friend. Chief Ali always there for advice and so tentative to our group. Abert and Koung at the Beach bar, always happy to chat even when they are flat out serving. Just a few of the outstanding staff, all of which deserve a mention as from the gardeners to the pool boys, lifeguards and room cleaners, always have time to smile a d say hello or stand and chat. Fantastic place and fantastic staff, still a few days to go but already planning our next visit. Read less

We visited this resort the last week in April 2022. We were satisfied with all service during holiday. There are a lot of activities for traveling, relaxing and you have to visit the cosmetic salon there. This vacation was amazing. We can recommend this hotel and its service. It was awesome 😉 We will come back the next year.

We had the best weekend ever. PS- there is a special swimming area for our fur babies too. Happy dog mom over here 🐾🐾🐾 Read less

Why go all the way to the Caribbean when you can be in RAK? From our experience, The Hilton Beach resort knocks spots of Sandals in the Caribbean for location, customer service and quality of food. I have broken this review down into sections as there are so many good things to review. I have given it four stars as, with most things, it was not perfect, but pretty damn near. Location: Just short of an hour and a half from Dubai airport. An easy ride with no hold ups on very good roads. The cost was 266 AED which equated to about £60. Hotel on arrival: Once we arrived in the resort we were greeted with a haven of luxury and a sense of calm with a very Arabic feel and smell with lovely incense burning in the centre of the atrium. Our room was large and with a view of the public beach. The best part was that it was private and with no one looking over us either side of our room. We didn't have any sun on our balcony but after a whole day on the beach, this was not necessary. Downside: At reception we were asked if we wanted an upgrade to a sea view room instead of a city view. In reality we got a sea view even though it was marketed as a city view. We are glad we did not pay the extra for a sea view which would have given us a view of the private beach but I doubt it would have given us the seclusion we had. Hotel room. Spacious with good quality furniture. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower and two sinks. The quality of the cleaning was excellent. We were provided with plenty of water and you can always ask if you want more. Downside. The complimentary toiletries were offered in small plastic bottles which were barely enough for one person. I spoke to one of the housekeeping staff and pointed out that this was not environmentally good to have so many small plastic bottles. There is no reason why Hilton could not provide larger bottles attached to the shower and bath. It can still be quality products but without the plastic waste. The same applies to the water bottles, with a fridge in the room, larger bottles of water could have been provided. Customer service. Staff were all very well trained and nothing was too much trouble . The waiting staff made it their business to get to know you as guests and asked if there anything else they could provide such as different food etc. Downside. We found this became tiresome at times being asked what time we would be having lunch, and constantly being told that if there was anything we wanted we could just ask. At the end of the day we are on holiday and don't want to be hassled. There is a fine line between being attentive and being a nuisance. Mostly the staff were lovely. A big thank you goes out to Arrish, Popal and Phyo. Food quality: Excellent. ok, so its buffet but what can you expect from a large hotel?. There is the option of eating at Al Meada which is Lebanese inspired and a lovely setting away from the hussle and bustle of The Kitchen. We didn't eat at La Vida but it looked popular. If you are on all inclusive (and I would highly recommend this), you get a 70 AED towards your meal. the portions are huge, there is no need to order a starter unless you are a big eater. Downside: Lunches at The Kitchen seem to have better options than evening meals and for us there was not enough Arabic influenced foods. The odd thing here and there but no Lebanese type rices or mixed meat with fruit type food. Even at Al Meada there were no Arabic style rice dishes. There were plenty of indian style dishes at The Kitchen which were of excellent quality and taste. Beach and pool area: We are very much beach people and it was practically empty. Take your pick from loads of beds with shades and large comfortable towels. The bar was close at hand but it was never very noisy or busy. Again, the bar staff were friendly and helpful. All inclusive is a bit restrictive when it comes to cocktails and drinks but all the drinks offered the usual brands. We sat around the pool a couple of times. The pool was very cold compared to the 29 degree warmth of the natural sea. Bliss. The beach had a sweeping bay with life guards at various points. The week were were there (early May) we had a sea breeze most days which was a welcome relief to the 35 plus degree heat. Would we recommend this hotel particularly as it was about 50 percent cheaper than the Caribbean. Once cocooned in the hotel and beach you could be anywhere. The greenery and sound of the birds helped to make it a very relaxing and enjoyable break with just a 7 hour flight home. If we were to go again, it would be slightly earlier, March possibly but this year it clashed with Ramadan. And finally. We arranged our holiday through Emirates Holiday. On arrival at the airport there was no transfer which we were expecting, however, a quick and easy phone call made at the reception desk, soon sorted that. Again, very good customer service. We hope you have enjoyed this honest review and do PM us if you would like more info. Read less
