So I’m not even sure where to start. But we decided to stay at the Jaffa because our original trip overseas to Thailand was canceled for the second year in a row because of COVID and we had reward nights that were expiring. There’s plenty of hotels that claim 5 stars and think that just means great facilities and leave it at that. The Jaffa UNDERSTANDS what it truly means to be a 5 star hotel. SERVICE SERVICE and MORE SERVICE. From the moment you book till the moment you leave (maybe even after as I’m just writing this minutes after we checked out) they go out of their way to make sure they are serving you to the fullest extent. They send pre arrival emails asking about special occasions, requests or just a “look forward to seeing you.” We actually we’re celebrating my wife’s birthday and our original reservation had to be pushed back. So they made sure that all the precious communications were transferred to the new reservation. Upon arrival we were greeted, offered a welcoming glass of Champaign and given confirmation of all the special requests. They even wished my wife a happy birthday! We were escorted to our room, personally shown all of the features of the room and then shortly after our bags arrived. A welcome Champaign, cake and assorted fruits arrived immediately afterwards with a handwrittten note from Harry welcoming us and wishing my wife a happy birthday. Breakfast is amazing from Goldas delicatessen with a wide range of salads and multiple main entrees to choose from. I got the French toast. It was so good I got it both mornings. The entire place is like a walking historical site and we were lucky enough to get a tour from Harry who shared with us the history of the building and it’s many historical features. Make sure to ask for this special treat! Our kids arrived the second day and as promised we had an interconnecting room. Our kids room had another surprise waiting arranged by Alina. Such a nice way to welcome them and really made this visit extra special. The Jaffa is more than a hotel. It’s a getaway where you’re treated like royalty. Whether it’s for 1 night or 1 month they’ll treat you like you’re a regular and the most important person they have at the hotel. Thanks to everyone at the Jaffa! Galit, Harry, Alina, Katie, Maya, Inbar, the pool staff, the staff at Gilda’s , the room attendant’s and cleaning crew and everyone in between. Simply the best hotel in Israel! Read less

Came here with my boyfriend for my birthday, after debating between a few hotels - I could not be happier with our decision. We had the best most relaxing, romantic and luxurious experience here and I'm absolutely looking forward to being back. LOCATION- 10/10. As an Israeli, I thought I knew Jaffa, but sleeping in this location I really felt the charm of it. Right next to the beach, the old town and the shuk. CLEANLINESS- 10/10. Everything was top notch. THE POOL- 10/10 Relaxing and gorgeous. We were lucky not to have any children at the pool with us so it was very chill and quiet. The attention to details, and the service at the pool amazed me. Especially Dong and Bar. They were so attentive, curtious, and kind. I've yet to experience this level of service at hotels in Israel. The second we sat by the pool, Dong came over with a pitcher of ice water with lemons. The food by the pool is also amazing, I recommend getting a salad :) THE SPA- 9/10. Alon is amazing I highly reccomend him. My partner got his massage from him, I got mine from a lady and was very unsatisfied, I didnt say much BUT - she got the hint and offered to stop so someone else could do my massage. The management was very kind and it was obvious that it was so important for them for me to leave happy, relaxed and satisfied. Alon ended up doing my massage as well, it was the best. The sauna and facilities were great and clean. Overall, could not be more satisfied. The Jaffa is raising the standard of hospitality in Israel! Great thanks to the staff, especially Dong and Bar. Can't wait to be back! Read less
