This place is a glorified motel. They charge a fairly substantial premium because it is within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The property is dated and in need of a substantial renovation. The rooms are adequate but far from exceptional, with one exception: the shower. The shower head is WAY too low! My wife is 5'5 and she could… Read more
This place is a glorified motel. They charge a fairly substantial premium because it is within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The property is dated and in need of a substantial renovation. The rooms are adequate but far from exceptional, with one exception: the shower. The shower head is WAY too low! My wife is 5'5 and she could not fit under the shower head. I am 6'0 and the shower head seemed better suited to rinsing sand off my legs. That being said, if you are looking for lodging on Lake Powell in Wahweap, then this is your place (by default). The biggest advantage of staying here is easy access to Lake Powell--views, beaches, boating, excursions, etc. But we found ourselves driving into Page each day for restaurants, tours, supplies, etc. anyway. If we return to Lake Powell, we will stay in a much newer, nicer, and cheaper hotel in Page, and then make the scenic 15-minute drive to Wahweap when we want to access Lake Powell. Read less

Staff was very helpful and accommodating after our original plans were delayed by bad weather. They helped us rebook our stay without issue. Front desk staff was the best. We really appreciated their hospitality. Great location with great views.

We chose this location on our travels between Zion NP and the Grand Canyon. We stayed only one night. We arrived earlier than scheduled but were still accommodated by the hotel as there were sufficient rooms available. The resort itself is nice enough, but there were several niggles that put a slight downer on our stay. The room we were shown to was clean and tidy and well furnished, however there was a large water stain on the ceiling of our room, where water had obviously leaked in through the flat roof. The hotel staff were aware of this damage but still chose to let the room. Further more there was a large what appeared to be a coffee stain on the small patio area of our room, which had obviously not been washed down after the previous occupiers. Small mistakes easily rectifiable but NOT done and clearly no after clean room inspection. The whole room and block of rooms looked tired and in desperate need of a make-over. That said the staff were accommodating. The outdoor pool area was nice but the wellness area was closed and not working. We did not use the hotel's other facilities for the one night stop over. Be warned. During our visit there were a number of organised coach tours also using this hotel for the night or more, thus increasing the occupancy of the hotel AND the coach drivers were obviously in the habit of starting out early in the morning, for they did no more than start up several of the coaches whilst they were parked in the car park directly outside of reception, and to leave them running, before any of their passengers had even left their rooms. So don't expect a sleep-in bed for they are all on the road quite early! Read less

Although we stayed at this resort for only 1 night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is located about 7 miles from downtown Page, and has beautiful views of Lake Powell (make sure to get a room with a lake view - we unfortunately did not). The resort has several on-site restaurants/bars/coffee shops etc., has a nice swimming pool, extensive grounds, and of course easy access to the lake for Watersport activities. The restruants include the beautiful Rainbow Room and the Wahweap Lounge featuring extensive menus for food and beverages. Both have beautiful lake views. Overall, the hotel offers many amenities including several options for boating tours (reservations can be made from the lobby.) Our check-in was a bit painful with 10-15 minute wait. The hotel is very popular with lots of tour buses coming in and I hope that you don't get stuck in the check-in crowd. Front desk staff was courteous but not in any hurry to help guests check in faster. We got a room in one of the buildings with a 'parking lot view' instead of the lake view - but that was okay. Rooms are decently sized, clean, and quite comfortable. Our room had a mini fridge as well as a Keurig coffee maker. Please note that some of the buildings do not have an elevator - so if you have walking issues or have lots of luggage, you have to take the stairs. Wifi and parking are both free and included with the room rate. Breakfast is separate and is about $18pp. Overall a great place to stay. Read less

The resort is located right on Lake Powell, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were able to go to their Marina and rent a jet-ski for 1/2 day and we really enjoyed riding around Lake Powell with the jet-ski. We did eat at the resort main ding room and again the staff were very friendly and the food very good. If in the Lake Powell area, it is well worth staying here... We know we will be back!. Read less
