Nice room, beautiful pool areas, excellent location. Just don’t forget anything in your room when you leave. Forgot a couple things, went back 2 hours later, and was told house keeping didn’t find anything. Really disappointing, my kids work at Butchart Gardens in Victoria. Forgot a couple things, went back 2 hours later, and was told house keeping didn’t find anything. Really disappointing, my kids work at Butchart Gardens in Victoria. B.C., and they have a lost and found there, where they hold on to things for 6 months. Even holding on to lost and found articles for 1 week would be a nice gesture. Read less

I live nearby and had my mom visiting from the mainland. We stopped here for dinner, shared the turkey club. The sandwich was great, paired with a couple martinis, and the location it made for a perfect evening with mom. Chris and Craig were the bartenders and did a great job!

I was extremely let down by the poor service and reaction from the manager on duty when i informed them our room smelt like someone had a marijuana party. My partner is pregnant and this want not at all beneficial for her health and the first reaction from the manager was to send someone up with a deodorizer. This was unacceptable as it was just masking the smell and not providing a solution. The room attendant came up and even mentioned the smell in the room was appalling. I asked to be moved to an equivalent room if not better as we shouldn't have been put in a position where we had to put up with these circumstances and we were moved back closer to the street and in inferior room in which we had to ask to be made up the next day at 3pm. Not only is smoking in the rooms prohibited in the hotel its also is a massive health risk to my pregnant partner and the overall experience was completely ruined. Read less

Beautiful view from the balcony. I enjoyed swimming early morning in the shade in the heated pool which was opened from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. I was disappointed to find that even though they claim to have two swimming pools, the adult pool is only a wading pool not suitable for swimming. The regular pool was not very big, so I had to swim a rectangular path rather than regular laps. It was about a 30-minute-long brisk walk each way between the hotel and the famous Waikiki Beach. I love the ukulele and Hawaiian decor in the room. The full-length mirror could give anyone an illusion that they are more slender and taller. The room is clean with lots of towels. There was coffee, but no tea. They do provide free water bottles. If you self-park across the street which costs $23 a day, but pay only as you go, then the last day you don't pay full price. You only pay for the hours you parked that day. The hotel is conveniently located, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Read less
