The hotel

Boasting the world's most famous zip code 90210, the Beverly Hilton is the home of the Golden Globe awards every January making it one of the premier places to see and be seen. This hotel is a favourite with the stars, a glittering landmark since the 50s that has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe and is also where she received her Favourite Actress Golden Globe in 1962. A walk through the corridors will give you an idea of the glamour and fame that have also passed through over the years, all of the pictures where taken in the hotel itself. Guest rooms are large and most have a terrace or city views, each room is fitted out with a tablet to allow you to order room service and other guest services. The pool terrace is spacious with plenty of areas to relax after a long day of sightseeing, theres a fire pit for cooler nights, and the pool itself is the largest in Beverly Hills. After working up an appetite you can head to CIRCA 55 for casual dining, but there’s lots of choice nearby too.

I've always wanted to stay at the BH for the "celebrity" experience. Well for my birthday this year I booked a One-Bedroom Suite. If I was gonna stay, I was going all out. It was rather quiet as LA was reopening. From the arrival, the bellhops were extremely helpful, the guest service agents were extremely engaging and polite. We did eat at the Circa 55 restaurant. I had the Salmon with street corn. I swear my plate could've been reused without a washing...delicious. Unfortunately, we got kicked out of the pool due to a photoshoot...I guess that is to be expected on the occasion. The other downside, really conditionally based, the rooms service in to-go containers was not so "ritzy" but we knew this before hand. I was a little saddened when I realized I was on the "Whitney" floor and a few rooms away. In short, I will definitely stay here again. Read less

The hotel was beautiful before but it just went through a 35 million dollar renovation and it’s stunning. The hotel staff are so accommodating & kind. The food was fantastic & the pool was so clean & refreshing. We absolutely love it here & plan to come back next year.

The high-end prices do not insure high-end customers. This is strictly a non-smoking hotel. Not only does the smell of cigarette, cigar, and even pot smoke haze the balconies in the evening, but if you have a second floor terrace room, expect a rain of cigarette butts, cigar butts, and tobacco pouches to be flung down from above (because you… Read more

Not only does the smell of cigarette, cigar, and even pot smoke haze the balconies in the evening, but if you have a second floor terrace room, expect a rain of cigarette butts, cigar butts, and tobacco pouches to be flung down from above (because you can't be caught with smoking residue in your own room!). We collected all the evidence to provide to management, and were "warned" this was a non-smoking hotel. What!?! Just avoid the second floor, and know that many of your "neighbors" are trash. The location in Beverly Hills is great for exploring the area, and we felt quite safe at the property. Diamond member breakfast ($20 credit per person) was very good, and the service was superb. A few drawbacks: We had an issue with the bathroom shower door not closing and flooding the toilet area, and the room was a bit on the small side, but this was not enough of an issue to take away from the trip. Also, the hotel reserves lounge chairs at the pool that are immediately outside of first floor hotel rooms. There were not enough lounge chairs for the folks at the pool over the past few days, and the chairs outside the rooms were unused. The hotel should consider allowing guests to use the unused lounge chairs, with the caveat that they move if the room occupants arrive to use them. Read less

Amazing location near Rodeo and upscale restaurants. Staff are super nice to deal with. Got upgraded due to Hilton status immediately and everyone was readily available to make everything go as smooth as possible
