The hotel

Boasting the world's most famous zip code 90210, the Beverly Hilton is the home of the Golden Globe awards every January making it one of the premier places to see and be seen. This hotel is a favourite with the stars, a glittering landmark since the 50s that has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe and is also where she received her Favourite Actress Golden Globe in 1962. Guest rooms are large and most have a terrace or city views, each room is fitted out with a tablet to allow you to order room service and other guest services. The pool terrace is spacious with plenty of areas to relax after a long day of sightseeing, theres a fire pit for cooler nights, and the pool itself is the largest in Beverly Hills. After working up an appetite you can head to CIRCA 55 for casual dining, but there’s lots of choice nearby too.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating 3.5-4 star - accommodating with early check in

This is a solid hotel in a good location and you can walk to shops. The rooms are a standard hotel affair for a 4 star establishment. I would recommend for business travellers. They were able to accomodate an early check in which was incredibly helpful. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment re food etc.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Hotel is classic, and in a great location, we walked to Rodeo Drive and Westfield Century City. Some very beautiful cars in the valet as you can imagine. Staff were friendly and we felt very welcome. We would stay here again.

The Beverly Hilton is a lovely hotel. Well worth it for the Corporate rate offered. My room was well-appointed and very clean. Seems basic, but I’ve not always experienced this at other “luxury” hotels. 2 drawbacks were 1) the view from the balcony faced the street and the back of a shopping center. It was noisy at 4:30 am when the delivery trucks… Read more

My mother and I are both Hilton Honors Gold, and we are supposed to get a free upgrade when available. The "upgrade" was to a TINY room that overlooked a garage roof. The TV must have been 30 inches. Very small. The room looked like it hadn't been remodeled in 20 years, and the wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom. There were nicks and… Read more

Very small. The room looked like it hadn't been remodeled in 20 years, and the wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom. There were nicks and scratches in all the furniture. You have to pay $25/day for a refrigerator, you have to request a coffee maker (which they do not refill the coffee every day - you have to ask for that too). We spent over 300,000 Hilton points on this stay (it was my birthday weekend), and it was NOT worth it. Maybe for a normal hotel, but I would expect more from a flashy Hilton, for gold members, and when you are redeeming so many points. Will NOT be staying here again, and honestly they should be returning some if not all of our points. Read less

The staff really make this hotel special - all very helpful but also very nice people, and down to earth. Would love to call out Grazyna and Rene on reception, and Frank and Jim on concierge. They made my stay so personal and went above and beyond. All other staff were great too. The location of the hotel couldn’t really be better - Rodeo Drive is walkable in 10-15 mins. Not far from West Hollywood and Santa Monica is about a 25 min drive. I didn’t have a car and use Uber. This time it seems Uber have sorted out their app to recognise where the front of the hotel is, and ever time I was collected they found me straight away. Breakfast is lovely, piles of fresh fruit and unlimited juice and fresh coffee. Overlooking the pool really is living the Beverly Hills life. The pool itself is great too. I love Old Hollywood and there are many features of this in the hotel, pictures of classic actors on the walls. Most of these stars have stayed in the hotel. There’s even Fleetwood Mac’s Grammy in a cabinet! So many celeb-studded events happen here, almost something every other day. I’ve seen A Listers just casually walking though reception. Proper LA glamour and the people-watching is the best. The rooms are lovely and spacious. I would recommend staying in the Wilshire Tower rather than the Oasis side, far superior. Cannot wait to go back! Read less
