The location of this hotel is near to anything you want or need, hotel areas and rooms are kept Very clean and as it’s still considered as a new renovated hotel everything is still in good condition. Staffs are all friendly and helpful in anything.

We have done several staycation in HK. This is definitely the one you should avoid at all cost. You end up being stress out from the moment you check in to having breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised that Hyatt digital check in. So I have taken advantage of this to avoid the long queues. However when I saw a transaction(the amount bigger than my expectation) from Hyatt that was charged to my credit card, I have no choice but to queue for front desk check in. We have to wait for over 30mins before we seen. Luckily we did this, as when I asked what is the arrangement for cruise restaurant as this 1st year anniversary package include dining @ cruise restaurant, they then realised they have made an error. The restaurant was full and they did not make a reservation for us. We were offered buffet dinner and we turned it down. We have no choice but to change the package to bed and breakfast. I cannot see how basic error like this, a hotel of this 4/5 star can make. This is basic and it is unacceptable to get it wrong. Before we arrived, we were asked to fill in a form as to when you will like breakfast. We did populate this. However, it is shocking to see the queue being so long. One of the waiter than say would u like to eat your breakfast in the room. I informed him that I did ask when checked in yesterday but were told it is not provided. Apparently ordering in room service for breakfast is different from you yourself coming down and select what u would like to takeaway. We did get sitted ultimately but were told you have only 1 hour sitting arrangement. When you look around in the restaurant, nearly all counters are queuing for food. Hence the stress. The food is nice but we just cannot enjoy it due to time pressure. We just feel like we are just in macdonald, or production lines. I can understand why there needs to be time limitation due to Covid arrangement and restaurant are supposed to be operating at 50% capacity. However the restaurant is way beyond this. Next according to the in room notice, it did say if u need any hand sanitizer, pls ask the front desk. When you ask the front desk, they say they do not offer this. It is only when I informed him that this is written in the room notice that he decides to call someone and ask. This is appalling ! The left does not know what the right is doing! I understand the difficulty that hotels are experiencing. However, basing on the above experience, HYATT has just destroyed their valuable brand value. The hotel has potential from the view to location. The room is ok and the pool is lovely. The Management of Hyatt group should reconsider whether they should retrain their staff. Staycation with stress is not what I am paying or asking for. Avoid at all cost! Read less

Would give 0 if we could. This 1 star is for the frontline staffs, they are all good no problems. The main and the biggest problem was the hotel system. We are a couple with a 18kg dog. after booking: Everytime we have to wait for quite long when calling CS, already called 2 weeks ago and asked if we can early check-in/late check-out with or without paying extra, still just got 1 answer: have to depend on the availability on the day (we are happy to pay more to extend a bit longer tho). Also asked if we have to make early reservations for anything but they never mentioned we have to book our spots for swimming pool. Check-in: we have queued for 1 HOUR for check-in. I think it's because that was a friday check-in. Everyone was so paient to queue up but hey, no one was enjoying this. And let me tell you haytt Hotel, you should know how many check-ins you have to handle. Room: For the dogcation package, WE CAN'T UPGRADE OUR ROOM TYPE. Even we are happy to pay more. The room is quite small. Again if we could upgrade our room we would have upgraded it already. Amentites for Dog: My dog is 18kg and they gave us a small size dog bed, we called and asked them to change to a bigger one and they said they just have 1 bed size for dogs. But weirdly, they sent a bigger one to us later. Swimming pool: No one told us we have to book for the session and when we are informed, it's full. Maybe it's due to covid-19 regulations? I don't know. Gym: packed with people who are just going to gym for sight-seeing. There is one VR exercise thing in the gym and again, reservation was needed, no one told us and it was full. Restaurant: outdoor seating because of dog, quite nice quality of food! BUT Because of rain the day before some seat cushions looked dry on the surface, after sitting for a while the inside of the cushion which was still wet had made our pants wet over time! Some good points: we didn't mention that was my birthday during the dogcation but I think they noticed it when I presented my ID card during check-in. They eventually sent a small birthday cake to my room. 3/f dogs playground is good. Staffs are polite and helpful. Will never come back again. Read less

How difficult from guest to contact you?3rd, my partners unfortunate was felt not well and just want to ask if we could breakfast served in room instead. I called CS line at 10:10 was still unavailable to connect. We were waited and told from emergency line at 10:30 breakfast not allowed deliver in room. That’s fine. We could go down but she told me breakfast time already finished. I asked her any alternative option for us, she said No. I don’t thought the hotel even not care about your guest in 1st priority. 3rd, we were offered complimentary late check out until 3 as our TV was found suddenly no signal midnight and room moving to other room on 11/F. However, I was slept until around 14:00 and too shocked was someone bell my door and came my room without my permission. She was woke me up. She asked me will extending one more night or what time will checkout. Okay, I told her I will leave at 3. but after 10mins, there was another housekeeping female knock my door and came my room again. She was asked me daily room clean is required or not. What’s wrong with your hotel ??? You are telling me how communicated break down with your team and always disturb your guest. My husband and I stayed at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour for 2 nights. From the movement we arrived at the hotel, we were treated with the utmost hospitality. The accommodation was brilliant, incredibly clean and well furnished. We were lucky to secure a high level and a full sea view room (especially thanks for the staff arrange this room for us). We dined on buffet in the morning and night, consisting of crunching appetisers, fresh varieties of seafood, noodles and hot plate. We went to gym every day and enjoy a lot.
