The room was great, spotless clean, big room, comfy bed and pillows. There are three swimming pools which are good for relaxing. All the staffs are friendly and caring, by the way, Kid's club should have more variety of toys.

I will start by saying I’m a frequent international traveller and we travel as a family of 4 . We have a minimum of 7 holidays a year and I only book 5star hotels only ! So I’m not a novice to family holidays . I give credit where it’s due and will point out the negatives too. This is not a family/child friendly hotel !! It’s good for nuns/church /monks/prayer group retreat . Positives Good and free WiFi Staff is friendly and approachable It’s peaceful and serene Rooms are very clean It’s calm and beach is picturesque Clean pools Facilities are clean . Oaty in the Nest restaurant works hard . Most staff is always smiling for a few seconds at all times and try to be hospitable at all times The breakfast is good . Shuttle bus is reliable JIJA in the beach restaurant is very cheerful , polite , kind and happy . Well done to her . Negatives Not worth the price at all!! It’s a 3star hotel not 5 star ! We were all inclusive but it was very limited. It’s very remote and way out town and everything. The most boring and dull hotel in the world. Grey dull buildings no decor . The blocks look like a prison. No mini disco for kids , no entertainment team . Kids can only swim and nothing else. Kids club is boring and not very interactive Hotel is not in Phuket and far from Phuket ! We were booked in to a twin room for 2 yet there was 4 of us . Paid for 4 given a room for 2 and they squeezed in a sofa bed! ( room 2311). 2 adults and 2 kids no privacy yet we were promised a family room . Then given 3 beds and told we need to share a bed with one child !! Surely they could have given us a family room . Please avoid this hotel! I was so exhausted after flying 14 hours in the plane, plus waiting 2.5 hours in Dubai , then just under 2.5 hours from Phuket . Food is limited and not varied , they lack variety . This is the worst in terms of food especially for all inclusive. EXCURSION BOOKED VIA HOTEL IS A WASTE OF MONEY ( GAT is the company name) . It was meant to be a full day and we were done by 1pm. Dinner buffet is the worst -no cooked veg they have a few at breakfast . By day 3, I stopped having dinner after waiting on day 2 for drinks till we finished our meal and left ! In the Nest restaurant you have to wait a minimum of an hour for your lunch , with hungry children No hotel entertainment , no animation team or anything interactive. Kids club is boring and just a video game and a ball pit ! Just swimming for kids no fun slides for kids or anything Drinks for all inclusive are extremely limited and you can only have bottled water from 11am . On some evenings all we had was water or one at dinner . Drinks are only served at meal times The hotel is boring , depressing and dull No snacks in between meals so be prepared to starve . Not a typical all inclusive package You wait an hour for food at Lunch as they are short staffed . You have to pay for Mini bar , so don’t drink or eat anything in the hotel room . You will be charged triple the price !! Room service is super expensive!!! Oaty is very helpful but overworked and sometimes is under so much pressure she can’t help as Much , although one day she told me to go and make my own tea at the tea station !!! PAI - manager is not helpful at all, did nothing to help or for us when my son was verbally abused for singing by a horrible French/Russian couple . My son was petrified after he was abruptly screamed at ! They actually giggled amongst themselves when I told them what had happened. They thought it was funny that a young child was scared. You have to keep signing for food and drinks . They should , just get all inclusive bands , half board and breakfast arm bands rather than to check room number and make guest sign all times . We stayed here over the Christmas holiday. First I will give the positives for the hotel. It is new, clean, and has nice facilities. Housekeeping was fine. The pizza restaurant is surprisingly good. The Christmas buffet was very well done and reasonably priced. Also, the staff at the pool bar and the beach bar are wonderful. They are an asset to the hotel. Now for the negatives. As a Titanium member, we received zero perks besides a hand written card and a note written on our room mirror. The rate we booked included breakfast so we chose the welcome gift of 1000 points instead of breakfast for two. When we asked the staff if there were any other benefits, we were told we would have a 20% discount off f&b. This would have been expected anyway. We booked a family room and at first we thought that no room upgrade was available that could accommodate a family. Later we noticed that there are pool access family rooms that we were not given. On the last day my son noticed a sign that said free ice cream for Marriott Bonvoy members for a two hour period. It would have been nice if someone had mentioned that earlier. Ironically the woman in line before us told us that she joined Bonvoy during her stay but the free ice cream didn't matter because she was on the all inclusive package. My suggestion to the management is to offer something, anything, to the Bonvoy members. An obligatory fruit basket, a piece of cake or dessert sent to the room, or a voucher for two free dinks. It was so disappointing to receive nothing in addition to the 20% f&b discount and 1000 points welcome gift that we are always given as Bonvoy Titanium members. With that said, during our stay it appeared that the majority of the guests were on an all inclusive package. Also, since it was Christmas time, the majority of the guests were escaping the Russian winter weather for the beautiful Thai weather. While the food was okay, the menu was very limited. We could tell that it was geared towards an all inclusive food and beverage crowd with nothing spectacular offered on the menu. One day we ordered a Cobb Salad that was very small and poor quality with browned avocado. I sent it back and assume it had been pre-made to accommodate an all-inclusive crowd. As far as the family room, my advice is not to choose one. If you can get adjoining rooms then that would be much better. The family room has one entrance into the room with the king bed. The attached room has a room with two twin beds and the table area is basically around the corner in the twin room. The table area provides no benefit for a place to hang out our use because it is so out of the way and does not provide a sofa area. I will provide a few more things for management to consider. Provide more sun loungers or enforce the sign claiming that the hotel will clear loungers not being used for a certain amount of time in the morning. At breakfast it would be nice if the staff helped guests find a table to sit at instead of leaving them to fend for themselves finding a table. Also, it would be nice if the breakfast staff took coffee orders instead of making the guests find their own coffee. The breakfast staff should also make sure to replenish silverware and napkins at the tables. Another suggestion is for the hotel to make sure there is someone at the drop-off point to greet a guest when checking in. Overall, I would like to point out that this hotel is fine if you are on an all inclusive package or get a good rate. However, if you are paying high season rates or have Marriott Bonvoy status, I would avoid it. There are so many other options in and around Phuket. This was our family's twentieth trip to Thailand and our stay at this hotel was our biggest disappointment as far as a hotel. I admit that perhaps our expectations were too high. So if you stay at this hotel, do not set your expectations high and you may be pleasantly surprised. Read less

Well, it has only been open a few months, and though most Le Meridien properties are smoothly run, this one is a work in progress. Well, it has only been open a few months, and though most Le Meridien properties are smoothly run, this one is a work in progress. They are still doing some construction, but I never had one time in my week stay I was disturbed by any noise or mess. The grounds are well kept, but the resort, like most in the area are very isolated. This can be good if you just want a relaxing, peace & quiet type vacay. If you want a more active one, or one that involves night life, you’re better off saying in Phuket. The excursions you can purchase are tremendously wonderful, and I urge anyone to see the Surin islands and Similan islands. Service was as helpful, and even saved an outing a 3rd party contractor screwed up last minute, though it was booked months in advance. The price of staying is absorbent, though food and beverage can add up. The quality of food is a bit disappointing for this level hotel also. A bit understaffed also. A lot of families, and management should reserve rooms to accommodate lifestyle. I was upgraded to a studio, and feel my poolside access was probably going to be better, smaller, but definitely losing pool accessibility was not worth it. Biggest thing is the poolside pool (there are several pools, only one bar) is on the north side of the complex, so would recommend that area if you want to relax poolside and enjoy some drinks). The beach looks beautiful, but it’s very rocky and the sitting area partially blocked by a seawall which makes it convenient. Expect turndown service for the price point and they seemingly only mop when they turn over the room, not during regular cleaning. Everything worked well in the room and was comfortable except shower draining to slowly and would back up water into the bathroom. Read less
