The hotel

You could be forgiven for thinking the Apsara is only for water babies, with its beachfront setting, infinity swimming pool, villa pool, two kids' pools, pool villa upgrades, water slide and of course, the obligatory Jacuzzi. But there’s more to the Apsara than sun, sea and sand. Set in unspoilt tropical greenery, along Pakarang Beach, this All Inclusive haven offers a range of drinks and things to do. There’s the Thai cookery classes, Thai boxing, spa treatments, bike rental and kayaking to name but a few!

In tropical Phang Nga, set in a secluded location along Khao Lak's Pakarang Beach. Transfer time from Phuket Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes.

So this was booked for my 50th. room was superior but for me i would say it was standard. Food we had one night when the food wasn't great it did become a little of the same food. Drinks. i didn't like it that you couldn't drink in all the bars you had to get your own drink and bring it to the beach bar this to me isn't all inclusive. the staff made the hotel for me so lovely worked hard and we tipped well. massive shout out to Ray and May in the resturant fabulous service. Dej, Henrey and BoBo in the pool bar amaxing service also. it was our special wedding anniversary whilst we were there and we did get a beautiful bottle of wine and flowers which was lovely. Bed very comfortable the maid forgot on a number of occasion to put two towels in our room. i wouldn't say this is all inclusive over the whole hotel for drinks. Read less

Great location on very interesting beach. Very nice beachfront bar for sundowners and food. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of western and eastern foods. Would stay here again. Staff very helpful and friendly, tried very hard to provide anything we needed.

The resort is in a very quiet location. Staff are very nice and helpful. We have been here 3 times now, in a pool villa which are very private. Sunsets are amazing. Pool villas are good value, compared to other resorts. Lots birds if you are a nature lover.

This hotel and location are superb. Golden beach warm sea excellent food, attentive staff. Lovely special restaurants. Elephant sanctuary a short walk away. Easy taxi ride (back of converted pick ups). Into local area. Highly recommend for a totally peaceful rest.
