The photos of this resort that we saw , quite deceiving does not show the steep incline from the reception to the bottom where we stayed or the beach which really was not that nice .We had to due to mobility problems call out for a golf cart to take us up top. We are not pool people , love the beach to walk along and that was non existant. No crystal clear water and water quite dirty at times. Lovely outdoor dining area , breakfast buffet to suit all tastes with an egg station . The menu we did not like or the food . I don't know why but the Asian food a lot different to what we have had in other areas of Thailand. We were given coupons for a free lunch or dinner as per package but we hardly used them the menu was limited so we decided to eat in Chaweng town a few kilometers away, cost 200 baht by tuk tuk or taxi . The town has a lovely modern shopping centre and a vast array of restaurants .Ate at the Australia Bar ..great ribs ! And one further down can get a Roast dinner or Yorkshire pudding .We did not try that but is on trip advisor as 5 star rating. The Villa itself is quite dark inside , our pillows gave us headaches every day , not at all comfortable or was the bed. We stayed in an Ocean View ..great view . I certainly would not like to be there in high season , does not look like a lot of loungers around the pool. To finish up the resort is quite average , I think we would have been better off in the quiet location of Bophut , loved that area with the Fishermans Village . Did not appreciate the lack of professionalism with my denim jacket gone missing from the wardrobe .It was the only jacket i had on our whole trip through Europe and rest at this resort . In all honesty we ticked a box but much prefer Phuket. Read less

Food is pretty bad at the resort. The worst I have ever experienced. Dinner menu is limited and the food is cold and hard as a rock. Breakfast is also not what you would expect at a resort. Totally disappointed!

Stayed 10 nights and it was the BEST service we’ve experienced from start to finish. Everyone was warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough. Hotel facilities and the site was awesome. Our villa (7010) was in the most ideal position…..beautiful, private, yet 20 paces from the dining site. Food was great and plenty of choice. Thank you for our stay… Read more

There are good arguments to stay at Nora Beach Resort but also reasons to reconsider: PRO: Complementary pick-up service from/to airport, gluten free bread at the breakfast-buffet, friendly and helpful service, Cha-Cha at the pool-bar, well maintained garden and greenery, peaceful location.... CON: The resort and above all the rooms need to be modernized (the years clearly show), not enough sunbeds at times (and it was not even high season), the army uniform of the personnel (change them into something appealing and pick friendly colors), the beach (the Norther part of Chaweng beach is not the famous sandy one, you have to be careful where you step, otherwise you suffer from cut toes like we did), the restaurant is average, no real "wow"! Since Covid-times are over and tourists are back, use the money wisely and invest into the future of the resort. Read less

Amazing resort! We stayed for five days with my family. We stayed in two Beachfront Pool Villas and waking up to sunrise, having almost your own private beach, gave a nice sense of tranquility and peace. The resort is amazingly located, not far from the busy area of Chaweng Central. The employees are super friendly and helpful. If I had the time, I would stay longer. small points of improvement: - more stable WiFi (but I guess in some other countries we are spoiled) - variety in breakfast - more complementary shuttles to Shaweng Central I would definitely recommend this resort to others!
