Great hotel Amari

Great hotel and staff. Booked B&B for 14 nights and we all cannot fault the hotel. Breakfast is a buffet and the food is a great selection. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. We were in a superior pool view. We spent most of the time around the pool the staff there ( Aof, Su, Ice, Air and S) are great look after your every need. Will definitely return to the Amari when we decide to return to Samui. What I would say is that guests need to respect the staff more, they are there to assist you not run after you. אחרי חוויה מאוד לא נעימה שהייתה לנו עם החדרים (הגענו לירח דבש וקיבלנו חדר מרוחק, על החומה של המלון בבניין שמרגיש כמו אכסניה ולאחר מכן הציעו לנו לעבור לחדר שהיה מלוכלך עם ג׳וקים על הריצפה במקלחת) הגענו לארוחת הבוקר בשעות העומס, לא היה שולחן פנוי, והושיבו אותנו בשולחן מרוחק מאזור הישיבה. ניסינו לנופף למלצרים ללא הצלחה על מנת להזמין קפה, רק אחרי שקמנו לקרוא להם מישהו הועיל בטובו להגיע, הזמנו כוס קפה. סיימנו לאכול וראינו (אחרי חצי שעה) שהקפה לא הגיע. ועוד פעם נסיונות כושלים לקרוא למלצר. בקיצור, שירות גרוע ! לא מומלץ ! After a very unpleasant experience we had with the rooms (we arrived on our honeymoon and got a remote room, on the wall of the hotel in a building that feels like a hostel and then we were offered to move to a room that was dirty with cockroaches on the floor in the shower) we arrived for breakfast at rush hour, there was no table free, and we were seated at a table far from the seating area. We tried to wave to the waiters without success in order to order coffee, only after we got up to call them someone was kind enough to come, we ordered a cup of coffee. We finished eating and saw (after half an hour) that the coffee had not arrived. And once again failed attempts to call the waiter. In short, bad service! Nice Website - I wish we were staying there ! We have just checked-in and the first impression is very disappointing! The Amari Koh Samui looks great on its website but in reality, the hotel is very average ( 3 stars at best ). The website does not mention that the hotel site is divided by a very busy road which requires a security guard to allow you to cross. The noise from this road is very intrusive - the booming party buses and motorcycles can be heard in the rooms next to the road ( where we are ) at all hours. We heard less traffic noise at our last hotel in central Bangkok ( 5 Star ) The Armari website states - "our village rooms have been recently refurbished". Given the state of our room - "recently" must mean two or three years ago! The room has stained furniture, dirty curtains, marked walls and a broken toilet seat. The room shows little resemblance to the website pictures. But the worst aspect of the room is the musky/sweaty smell that indicates that something is not right with the aircon or drains. The Armari is not a 5-star hotel - having just stayed at a 5-star hotel ( American chain) in central Bangkok - the Amari is a basic 3-star hotel which claims to be 5-star. לא מומלץ !!!! יחס מזעזע, באנו לירח דבש, פעם שנייה במלון, מסתבר שיש בריכה חדשה (נפתחה לפני חודש) והחדרים מסביבה מרגישים כמו אכסנייה, הכניסה לא נעימה, לייד החומה, לא נעים ולא סימפטי. רכשנו חדר לייד הבריכה ללא ביטול, לרגע לא דמיינו שנקבל חדר שמרגיש כמו אכסנייה, בהתחשב בכך שבפעם שעברה שהיינו כאן רכשנו חדר לייד הבריכה וקיבלנו חדר ברמה הרבה יותר גבוהה. לא הסכימו להחזיר לנו כסף, אפילו לא חלק. הסכימו לשדרג אותנו לחדר נורמאלי רק בתוספת תשלום. וכאשר ראו שאני כותבת ביקורת הסכימו פתאום לשדרג אותנו לחדר ״נורמאלי יותר״ החדר היה קטן ומלוכלך, עם ג׳וקים על הריצפה במקלחת. אנחנו לא נחזור לכאן.
