Perfect for an evening walk and dinner down in chaweng. A really lovely property. We have stayed here 4 times and will return again. Read less

Just back from Amari, me for the second time and my wife on her third visit. Loved the holiday and location, it's perfectly located for the beach and just a short walk to the main shopping area. Breakfast choices are excellent and the staff cannot be faulted. So friendly and helpful, welcoming and kind. We had a noisy air con in our first room which was on the main road, and even though the resort was very full, they arranged an alternative room which was lovely and a late check out on our final day as we had a 6pm flight out. Proximity to Your Place bar just down the beach is great too. Comfy beds, nice pool, lovely staff, had a fantastic holiday. (A tip for people who complain, try a little courtesy yourself to the team there, maybe learn a few words. Hello and thank you in Thai aren't difficult, and you'll find your stay is improved no end if you smile too!) Read less

We stayed in the Amari in Koh Samui in March this year. It absolutely lived up to its star rating . The rooms were beautiful, had everything we needed. Cleaned every day by pleasant friendly staff. We were bed and breakfast, the breakfasts were brilliant. Lots of choice. The two pool areas were spotlessly clean, and the beach was literally on the doorstep. We honestly could not fault the hotel. The manager was very friendly and was always asking us if everything was OK. The porters were lovely guys, always laughing and chatting. In fact all the staff were brilliant but we have to make a special mention of two of the waitresses Pen and Je Jee. Whether they were at breakfast or behind the bar at night, they were so friendly and competent. They went above and beyond to make our holiday special. We enjoyed our time at the Amari so much that we have booked again for next year. Thank you to everyone for making our dream holiday that extra bit special. Read less

Great place to stay, just away from the town but walkable. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, we were at the back garden rooms, nice & quiet. All the staff at this hotel are so friendly & nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are plenty big enough, huge bed, good sized bathroom with bath & a walk in shower, loads of hot water. My only criticism is that it could do with a brighter light, just for people who wear contact lenses & are short!😂 The beach is lovely, sea is warm, & great corn on the cobs to eat. Just be away there has been an oil spill & sometimes you come out the sea with blobs on your feet but the hotel has catered for this & there are cloths to remove it. Read less

Even if you need anything in the room in the middle of the night they would run and get you most happily within 5 minutes and that too with a smile. Breakfasts are 7 star rating with different varieties everyday and everything is fresh for example they had an Indian corner, Italian food, Thai curries,Chinese food and the hot English breakfast, variety of fresh fruits and endless different things, we were so impressed. Their Italian restaurant Prego next to the hotel does amazing food too. The location is so centre that you can virtually walk and get everywhere. We have been staying in this Hotel for the last 6 years but this time it was at its best in terms of cleanliness. We met the General Manager Mr Rudd who was soooo friendly and warm and made us feel so comfortable and spent some time with us every morning. He has such a lovely personality and asked us if we ever needed anything or if we have been ok at the hotel, I have never met anyone like him, this is from the bottom of my heart. Anyone who would stay at Amari would want to go there again and again and would have an amazing time. Priti and Shashi Read less
