When we have arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the bell persons, waitress, and receptionists. The welcome drinks were served the moment we started the check-in process, and indeed quenched the thirst. Receptionist details about everything we need to know about the hotel itself, location, facilities, and the offers available to IHG members. All the staffs from the drink server, receptionist, luggage carrier, buggy driver, restaurant staff, massage therapist, to all the housekeepers we met during our stay, are all polite, whole-hearted, considerate, and they all aim to make our stay and experience even better. We have been kindly arranged with an ocean view room on the top floor, and we would like to appreciate the arrangement of the receptionist. The room is spacious and tidy, and the view is amazingly good, particularly looking out from the top floor. The bathroom is also large enough for shower and bathing. We have selected the Spa Indulgence package during our reservation, and the 1-hour Aromatic Allure massage at the Amburaya Spa was the best one I ever had in Thailand. The massage therapist who serviced me, June, had the most amazing skills and particularly fitting touch to not only relieve the sore of my whole body but also provide comforts and satisfaction. It's just a treat in this 1 hour period, and she was indeed the most gentle and most skillful massage therapists I have met. There are three swimming pools to enjoy, from the one which is most suitable for kids to the one suitable for actual swimming, all perfectly blend in the resort. Happy Hours drinks are also available from 3 pm to 5 pm, where you can get two cocktails for the price of one. Drinking water was served immediately when we sit around the pool to relax, and the waiter indeed tends to our need right away. We chose to dine at Elements Restaurants as it mainly provided Thai cuisines, and there were also traditional Thai dance and boxing performances during the meal, and it's such an enjoyable dining moment with both food and shows to satisfy our palate and mind. Numerous dishes to choose from during morning buffet at Elements Restaurants, including Japanese, Western, Asia, and of course Thai. The dining experience becomes much enjoyable by taking outdoor seating with the amazingly beautiful ocean view and surrounding lovely songs from birds. In my humble opinion, I do believe that the varieties of morning buffet dishes can be increased to better reflect the luxury experience of staying in InterContinental Resorts. The overall stay experience is wonderful and great, and I will definitely recommend it to others who sat food on Pattaya. Read less

The pool areas are very nice great place to relax. Buffet breakfast was awesome. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you into downtown Pattaya and brings you back which is fantastic. The views are unbelievable. One to note...the hotel is quite spread out (which adds to the peace n quiet) so there can be a bit of a walk but don't fret if walking is not for you they will send the golf buggy to collect you. I highly recommend the Intercontinental Pattaya Resort for your next holiday. Read less

We are currently on day three of our three night stay at the Intercontinental in Pattaya. We chose a club pool suite room and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. The ambience in the hotel reflects its hideaway position from the brashness of Pattaya and Jomtien. The service in the Club Lounge for the evening canapés and cocktails Is exceptional. The staff arranged ferry tickets for us, provided advice for the local island excursions and they were a pleasure to deal with - they were so pleasant, articulate and professional. A special mention for Win, Palm and Mint. The management should be proud to have retained such excellent staff as this. In all, 5 out of 5 for all aspects of the Five Star Experience. Would recommend this hotel. Read less

The hotel buildings are all row-rise 4-buildings situated around the main lobby/restaurant area. You would need to have a short walk or ride a golf car to your room. Room is large and beautiful but looked dated. Service is impeccable. Breakfast buffet is not incredible but adequate. Overall is a pleasant stay.
