The hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a large room and a bath (I actually squealed with delight when I saw the bath). The breakfast is plentiful and the laundry room is a huge bonus. We would definitely stay again.

This is a charming hotel and it is located in downtown Van right on the strip near everything you want very close to all the restaurants and shops and the downtown visitor center and parks The room that we had was on the second floor overlooking one of the side streets before one they do not have air conditioning only heat and if you have to open your windows to cool the room down, you have to endure some of the street noise, although they do give you earplugs Room the only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the cost of parking at the hotel it’s around $18 USD per day, which is cheaper parking on the street. They do have a covered parking garage also forewarn that the main streets are closed off to get there as they open it up for pedestrian walking so you have to turn down a side street in front of the hotel and turn around to check in and then they will give you a key fob to get into your room and also to activate the garage door to go underneath , the hotel Read less

Absolutely loved our stay here. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Dead centre in the middle of everything. Right around the corner are giant Adirondack chairs with a fire pit. Absolutely loved our stay here. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Dead centre in the middle of everything. Right around the corner are giant Adirondack chairs with a fire pit. Also, within one block is a liquor store at least a dozen restaurants and shopping right there. The staff were helpful, kind and respectful. It was quiet and quaint. But above all else, they have the most honest staff. The day after I arrived home when I was unpacking I realized that I had left my diamond hoop, earrings and my necklace on the bedspread in the room rushing to leave for my flight at 3am. I called the hotel right away. The receptionist told me housekeeping was gone home for the day and that somebody would contact me the following day. I honestly thought my jewellery was gone. It was my mistake. I was so wrong. They contacted me the next day as they said they would with the good news that my jewellery was turned in and they would be mailing it back to me right away. Good people in this world still exist and thankfully they work at the Brewster mountain Lodge. Thank you so much to whoever you are. It is so good to know honesty still exist. It meant a lot to me and I appreciate it. Read less

The main streets were closed to traffic so the bus had to stop a short distance away. Allocated a nice sized room on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking a side street. There was a little bit of noise on the first evening from the bar opposite but it was ok. We were jet lagged so fell asleep regardless! We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable. The location is excellent right in downtown Banff. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The minor downside was breakfast wasn’t exactly great. But it was adequate for our needs. Plus if you wanted something more you could step outside to one of the many restaurants right on the doorstep. It’s definitely not a luxury hotel but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to stay here again. It was clean, comfortable and suited our needs very well. Read less
