I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and found the room large and clean. Staff were helpful at reception with directions to local sights or help with onward transportation. Continental breakfast was also very good and the hotel was in a very central location

I stayed there many times and love the place, rooms, the location and the service. Close to shops, restaurants, downtown and the river. The breakfast is great, with pastries, coffee, bagels, toasts, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, HB eggs and yougurt.

There is an underground car park, roughly $5 per day. You access it with your room key, I was a bit worried as I had read some reviews that parking was tight, especially for larger vehicles, but it was ok. From the car park you can access the breakfast nook or the lobby. Our room was on the corner facing Caribou street and a small alley. There was some early morning noise from the snow plough and delivery trucks, but is wasn't an issue as we were waking up early anyway. The room itself was spacious and clean, plenty of storage space. There is a safe above the wardrobe area. The bathroom was clean and well maintained with a big bath with jets (I didn't use it unfortunately!). The shower was easy to use and had a good flow of water. Our room was quiet, as regards to noise from other guests, but I don't think the hotel was particulary full. I imagine when full a bit of noise will bleed through from other rooms. There is a kettle in the room and a small fridge which is handy. The breakfast buffet in the nook was pretty standard, but kept us fed and saved us from having to spend extra money or time wondering where to go. I needed something printed while we were there and the receptionist was happy for me to email it across and printed it free of charge which was so kind. The reception staff in general were really polite and happy to answer all my stupid questions! Read less

We stayed at Brewster's Mountain Lodge during Feb/March 2019. It is central to all the bars and restaurants and was a great place to start walking on the local trails. Local buses run just round the corner if you want to have a swim at the hot springs. The local ski buses depart only 5 mins walk away and the hotel provided a secure lock-up for the skis. The lock-up room could have done with a bench to sit on for changing ski boots. The room was comfortable and even had a kettle so that we could make a hot drink or instant soup when returning from the slopes. There was only one down side to our room - the noise of the shower or bath being used from the above bathroom was very disturbing, especially after 11 o.clock at night. The laundry room provided washing machines and dryers as you would expect. The breakfast room was functional, clean and the staff were very willing to help when anything ran out. Far better than some complimentary continental breakfast I have had. It was totally self-service, including clearing the tables, but it worked well and was open until 10.30 in the morning, so no rush to get up. There was always someone on the front desk, and I cannot fault their enthusiasm and helpfulness during our stay. I would definitely stay again. Read less
