Stayed for 2 nights in August 2023 in a deluxe King room before a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. Room was great, plenty big enough with a good shower. Hotel is well placed in Banff for the main street, restaurants and bus stops. The only down side was the breakfast - limited choice and not a great standard. Hotel is well placed in Banff for the main street, restaurants and bus stops. The only down side was the breakfast - limited choice and not a great standard. However, this was a minor point for us as we only had one breakfast as the other was included on the RM. Enjoyed our stay. Read less

Stayed here for four days while visiting Banff. This location is very central and includes parking for $12/night for guests. The spaces are pretty tight but we were able to park our Ford Escape. Parking is located in a garage around the corner. There is a mini fridge in the room but no microwave. We had a jacuzzi in our room which was really nice but slow to fill; note that only bath salts are allowed (which is provided). Daily housekeeping was included. There is a TV and the room was spacious. Beds were comfortable and the thermostat worked. There’s a coffee machine with coffee and tea provided. Breakfast is free and includes hot items like frittatas as well as standard items like cereals and bagels. There’s a toaster there. A microwave is also available down there. There is one elevator in the hotel but note that if your room is in the 100s, you’ll need to take stairs. Read less

This hotel is in a great location but certainly not your best choice in Banff for the same price. Our room (at the back end of the hotel) was extremely noisy. The door has a gap which means you can hear everything in the hallway. We found the slamming of doors and talking of the people in the room opposite us particularly frustrating. Given people visiting Banff often stay up late - hotels here should prioritise soundproofing. We could also hear people running around the hallways and people upstairs as the floors are very creaky. The sheets smelled like bubblegum which was kinda weird / off putting. No fridge. Breakfast was OK but limited in choice and healthy options. Luckily you are in walking distance of many nice cafes. Otherwise, room was small but comfortable. We stayed in another hotel while we were in Banff at the same price point and it was miles better so I suggest looking at TripAdvisors top rates for Banff. Nice location, near to restaurants, stores and some attractions. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, but the view was not of the good ones. I think is more than enough, specially if you will be taking tours or driving around.
