We booked this originally through expedia (I tried to review on my phone and could not leave a written one through Expedia) Adam and the other gentlemen there that evening who's (forgive me) name I can't remember were both wonderful. Both were warm, friendly and welcoming. We had minor issues with our TV which were promptly and more than adequately addressed. We were happy to see they were following COVID protocols very well. There were hand sanitizer stations readily available at any high traffic area (elevators, main lobby) and the hotel itself was clean and in visibly good condition. We booked and stayed in a suite. The room was very nice. It was clean on arrival and we had no complaints. This is an older hotel and does not have air conditioning in the rooms (at least not the one we were in). It was hot the day we arrived but the access to the balcony was great and it cooled off enough in the evening to cool the room. There is currently construction on bear street, however we were staying on a Saturday evening so they were not working and truthfully it did not take away from our enjoyment of the balcony or the view. You have good views of Sulphur, Tunnel and Cascade mountain from the room. We were very happy with everything and would not hesitate to stay here in the future. A special thank you to Adam and the coworker who was with him on the evening of 09/05 for your friendly greeting, quickness to assist and overall pleasant demeanor. Thank you both for helping to make our stay so pleasant. Read less

Not sure where to start so I’ll start from the very beginning ! Booked a two night stay for my husband, 3 small kids and myself. We booked the loft room so we would have a living room , small kitchen and the bed in the loft ! Due to location we were so excited ! The day after I booked someone from the hotel called me to go over covid rules etc and asked how many were in my party and I said my family of 5! We drove 8 hours and upon arrival parked in the parking a couple streets over. When we got to the lobby the gentlemen informed us 5 people were too much for the room we booked. I told him the hotel was aware of how many people I had as someone had called me. He said he would move me to a more expensive room , however what he actually meant was move me to the only room they had left. It was a standard two bed room ! We took my family up to the room and immediately realized that with 3 kids ( one being a newborn ) this would not work. There wasn’t anywhere to even fit the playpen/crib for our baby to sleep. As I do appreciate they gave us another room, we were downgraded from a much bigger room to something that simply could not accommodate my family. I went back to the desk and told him this would not work and we couldn’t stay here . He took my keys and said “ ok “. I then had to pack up my whole family and go find a new place to stay AND pay for another place as Brewsters had already been paid for through EXPEDIA . I called EXPEDIA to explain my situation, they called the hotel in which the manager could not determine through his notes of when he originally called me , that I told him I was a family of 5! He said the notes were “ unclear” and wasn’t sure Of the conversation I had. He offered to pay me back one night. I’m so dissaaponted and upset over this experience. My family is out 300$ and I wasted almost 4 hours of my Afternoon due to the hotel not taking responsibility of the conversation I had with them prior. I run a small business myself and I cannot imagine treating someone the way I was treated. Also , the EXPEDIA rep informed me this is not their first issue with Brewsters Lodge. I am not surprised. Due yourself a favour and book somewhere with employees who will treat you with respect and take responsibilities for their mistakes. We ended up stayed at Hidden Ridge Resort and it was BREATHTAKING ! Read less

Having said that once getting initially checked in I was sent to the wrong room, not sure whose fault that is, got that sorted out and finally got into the room I paid for. Nice enough, very comfortable king bed, big open room, with a fan supplied, iron and ironing board, plus roller block out blinds. Spa bath comfortably fits two, however the bathroom is rather tight, very small shower designed for very skinny people. I picked this place because it included a breakfast, it turned out to be very underwhelming, it was ok I guess, could do with some improvement like actual edible fruit. The staff are very friendly and approachable no complaints there. One thing I highly recommend if you do choose to stay here, bring earplugs or a noisy fan as you can hear everyone's footsteps throughout the night. It is in a wonderfully central location, my wife and I enjoyed the convenience of just being able to leave our car behind and walk every where. It's pretty hard to have a bad time in Banff. Read less

What a charming hotel, right in the heart of Banff. Easily within a 2 minute walk to several restaurants and the local grocery store. Underground parking (however, beware if you have a vehicle that's even slightly lifted - you won't fit) and friendly staff. What a charming hotel, right in the heart of Banff. Easily within a 2 minute walk to several restaurants and the local grocery store. Underground parking (however, beware if you have a vehicle that's even slightly lifted - you won't fit) and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the suites which featured a 4 poster bed (I've never stayed in a hotel with such a comfortable bed), a whirlpool bath and a large shower. Pine furniture and high vaulted ceilings made the room incredibly cozy. Our balcony had gorgeous mountain views. Overall, we had a great 2 night stay just after Valentine's Day and the hotel was definitely worth the price. Read less
