I highly recommend this hotel because there are friendly staffs and amazing view! I think here is the best place to stay in Banff. We also could reach so easily downtown and lots of lakes and trails. It is really worth while to stay here for traveling around Banff.

Every little detail was done to perfection. From the service to the facility, I enjoyed every piece of my stay here. I was here for business, but with all the services that were so well done I will be back for personal use as well.

I was visiting for a conference at the Banff Springs Hotel. The check in was fast and friendly. I was told I was being upgraded. Upon taking the elevator to my room I found out the room was immediately adjacent to the elevator. This led to three nights filled with the elevators dinging regularly and loud patrons getting off. Because of this it was difficult to sleep. The view from the 9th floor over the Bow River Valley was beautiful! I ordered room service the next morning for breakfast. For 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, hashbrowns and a half of a tomato with juice and coffee, the bill came to $42 ($29 for breakfast, $6 delivery fee and 18% gratuity). The value for the food was terrible. The same thing happened when I ordered dinner- $79 for a steak sandwich, beverage and a piece of cake for dessert. Luckily, most of the meals were covered in the conference fee. The parking at this hotel is super expensive as well- you can pay $29 to park yourself of $43 for valet parking. The hotel is beautiful and the setting is second to none, but you pay a premium to stay here. Read less

Overall great hotel but in desperate need of attention to detail. Rooms are tired, service is average. We expected more when we pay for the experience and feeling was they just wanted our money. Will stay there again and hope its a better experience
