We booked the Gate house suite- great mountain views! The room is modern with great decor. Huge Bathroom with the usual Fairmont amenities. Our room had an electric fireplace which added to the ambience of the room. Check in was easy and I was glad that the hotel is strictly following Covid Protocols and gave us a card to say we are fully vaccinated ( after checking our vaccine passport)- we could show this card at all the restaurants and other areas in the hotel Very polite and helpful staff Plenty of parking in the multi storey car park was available A few Negative things- which are minor , but I am hoping that the Fairmont can correct/ amend 1. Though we had a great mountain view from our windows, we overlooked the garbage dump ( see pictures)…..Could the Fairmont move the garbage to another area of the hotel , not overlooked by the guest rooms 2. The Fairmont has stopped supplying the Rose Bathroom products- the current products , they have provided are not in keeping with the Luxury status of the hotel 3. Lack of directions / sign boards , we got lost a few times trying to find the restaurants. Could all the restaurants be well sign posted ? Otherwise the stay was great!! Read less

During my travels all over the globe, i usually dont spend a lot on accomodations, well except for this one. So to all flashpackers, try it even for 1 night. If there’s somethin’ that i didn’t like, i wish their breakfast is as good as the one we had in Fairmont Lake Louise. Read less

Customer service on the Gold Floor was TREMENDOUS, and even during the 3rd wave of Covid - 19 the staff made it a memorable experience. Prices in the hotel are in keeping with world class resorts, so if you want to save money don't come here.....but if you embrace the property, and the service, it is the best on earth. Lovely but small room (considering it is 100+ years old they really do an excellent job of updating). I'll be back....as often as possible Read less

We recently had a wedding in Mt. Stephen Hall with the ceremony on the outdoor terrace. Kim Beckett in group services did a stellar job coordinating our event which was a bit of work during covid travel but everything came out perfectly. The staff and concierge were wonderful, and the food at every venue and the reception was all top notch. … Read more

Whether it’s the house keeping staff (there was a newer woman on our floor who was awesome!), the front desk staff (thanks Skye) or Sam who answered questions before we arrived and the numerous servers in the restaurants - they always make you feel so well taken care of. Kristi and Rob, the two concierges answered all our questions, made reservations before we arrived, and made great recommendations on things to do! They both went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Plus our renovated room was well appointed. We are looking forward to coming back. Yay Fairmont! Read less
