The standard room was very small. Does not include a microwave or fridge. The bed was super lumpy and just a terrible bed considering the price we paid to stay here. We were not asked how our stay was or if we had any issues.

It is very slow and there is only one servicing the entire property. There are tons of gorgeous stairs with great views but that gets tiresome, specially when travelling with my senior mother. Aside from the elevator - everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor/ambiance is top notch. The hot tub is like nothing I had ever seen before - so spacious and it is designed as an homage to the original cave and basin. My husband and I had a one bedroom suite that adjoined my mom's room. The bed was comfy, the rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Thumbs up to the Fox! The location is walking distance to downtown Banff and pretty much anything you'd like to do. There is also underground parking and a bus stop super close too. Read less

For $380 dollars you can stay in the smallest room with a queen sized bed. Hair on the wall of the shower from the previous guests and no air conditioning! We upgraded to a suite and it was lovely. Lots of room upstairs and downstairs. We had outside access to our room which was fine until it snowed quite a bit and the stairs got pretty slick. There was salt thrown down on the walkway but having some for the stairs would have also helped. Breakfast was buffet style but perfect every morning. The… Read more

The hot tub was amazing! We went in every day and loved the atmosphere and comfort. It can fill up pretty quick but we always seemed to find some room when we went. Free 3 day hotel passes were provided which was a nice feature as the bus stop was right outside. We used these passes everyday and it was beyond convenient instead of buying passes or having exact change for the transit. We would absolutely stay again, great hotel, great location, very friendly and relaxing place to stay. Read less

First off, I don't particularly like writing poor reviews, but sometimes you just have to. Where to begin? I booked a two bedroom suite for my teenaged son and I, so we each had our own bedroom. First off, I don't particularly like writing poor reviews, but sometimes you just have to. Where to begin? I booked a two bedroom suite for my teenaged son and I, so we each had our own bedroom. My friend was staying here so I thought it would be easier to stay at the same place. The room we booked, suite 410 was not up to our standards, to say the least! I'm absolutely horrified that I paid $1300.00 for 2 nights for this dump! The entire suite itself was run down and dated. The TV didn't work, there was no picture, I did call and they at least gave us a brand new TV. The sun was shining into the suite the next morning and we would see the floors and windows were dirty, finger prints all over the windows etc. There were literally holes in the walls with a cut out piece of wallpaper to hide it. Paint was coming off, the couch was so disgusting/stained and old, we put tea towels down before we sat on it. Everything I touched, I felt I needed to was my hands. Let's talk about the toaster! I timed it....took 15 minutes to toast one piece of bread as there was only one coiled part in the toaster that worked. The coffee machine, spilled hot water everywhere as the coffee pot itself didn't even reach the spout where the water comes out. I had to lift the glass pot and hold it, to get water to drip into the pot! For the money that I paid for this place, I can't believe I stayed here. Never again!! Sh**hole! Also, very noisy outside our room, girls screaming and yelling, I had to put ear plugs in. Oh...and the heater very loud as you were trying to sleep. Get a new coffee pot and toaster for God's sake, at the very least...and who knows what's lurking on that couch....SO GROSS...we probably caught Covid!! Dirty, filthy place. Read less
