I also requested an exterior facing room and they had balloons waiting in a spacious room right under the Calgary Tower. It was nice that breakfast was included in my booking, and we were able to request late check out with no issues. For parking, a good option is the City Center Parkade about one block west of the hotel (entrance on 9th Ave). Thanks for a memorable celebration! Read less

Every year (or so), I book a few nights at the Palliser to get some writing done, enjoy the spa, and treat myself to decadent room service. The Palliser always delivers on its timeless beauty and service. This year I had the added bonus of a gorgeous fireplace, not needed because of the heat wave, but added an extra ambience to my exquisite room. The food from the new Hawthorne restaurant was delicious though the menu is limited for repeat in-room dining. It's more geared to group/family sharing in the dining room. In-room dining is only available right now (summer 2021) Friday and Saturday evenings. Not sure if that will be forever, but it interrupts my retreat if I have to go downstairs to pick up takeaway food in cardboard boxes from the dining room. It shatters the illusion that I like to create in my retreat/getaway in which I am removed from the mundane of everyday life. I still love the Palliser, and will likely return, but with different expectations. Thanks so much to the exceptional housekeeping staff - they're professional and meticulous. Read less

No valet when we arrived. Car park difficult and overpriced . Dinner menu was like a bar menu. Too trendy for me. Good quality Steak and Salad would have been nice. A little pricey for menu. Breakfast was wonderful with great service.

Ok. just went through the review questions... come'on TA... you can do better. Read less
