Now I booked this hotel month's ago from the UK through 'Accor Rewards' I thought it was a 4* hotel, (by UK standards) but it's actually by my standards a 5* hotel. Everything from floors, to restaurant, to rooms, etc were all spotless, even the house maids were pleasant and friendly..... Well worth a stay if you visit Calgary.. oh and the location is in the city centre, and within walking to most attractions... Read less

My husband is a very Loyal Fairmont Member & they are extremely good to him. That being said the rooms get very hot at night and if you open the windows it is extremely loud. The breakfast buffet IMO is expensive for what you get. The Lounge Reno is great and if there is a drink not on the menu just ask they will make it for you. We will stay… Read more

The breakfast buffet IMO is expensive for what you get. The Lounge Reno is great and if there is a drink not on the menu just ask they will make it for you. We will stay here of course again but during the winter the rooms are uncomfortably hot! Starbucks on site is a bonus. Lots of great shopping across the street. The car service is excellent. But self parking is 30$ a night. Read less

This hotel stay was a Christmas gift and it certainly delivered! The valet service is well worth it if you are planning to stay downtown, especially on the weekend. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are VERY comfortable, and the location is spectacular. We will be visiting again
