My friend and I came to the Lakeview Lounge at the Fairmont upon our arrival for lunch and drinks. We both agreed that this particular experience was a highlight of our week-long trip. Our server, Jonah, was EXCEPTIONAL. He recommended the most delicious drinks, food and overall treated us like VIPs. What a wonderful place, with wonderful staff.

We enjoyed our time at Lake Louise. We stayed in a Delux Suite overlooking the Lake which was ample room for my family of six (4 teens). It included two bedrooms: 1 King, 2 Double Beds. We requested a cot for my daughter which was extremely comfortable and we had it tucked to the side where she was able to enjoy the morning lakeside views. The room itself was breathtaking. It was clean and the temperature was perfect (some hotel rooms have the a/c blaring). I couldn't say enough to describe our stay here. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. We made use of the canoes at the Lake House. We were also easy access to hikes up and around Lake Louise to the Tea House and the Plain of Six Glaciers. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was unbelievable. We dined in the Poppy Brasserie every morning. I couldn't believe the selection and the taste was out of the world! The only "slightly" negative thing - is we like to take a swim in a pool after a day long hike, etc. And although the pool area was clean and spacious, I cannot help to think what an outdoor pool would feel like overlooking beautiful Lake Louise. Hopefully they will incorporate something like that in the future because it would have been nice to lounge outside pool side. However, the pool area, as mentioned, is great- just nothing to rave about. The staff were very helpful. Our Concierge (and the Concierge desk) kept tabs on us throughout our stay via text. Read less

We enjoyed our time at the lake which including canoeing and hiking to the Agnus Tea House. Dinner was lovely. The only set back was a rather lengthy wait over breakfast. I can appreciate that the hotel may still be understaffed due to covid and this should improve over time.

The location and interior of the hotel is amazing, the room however was not prepared for our check in and the AC hose was pumping hot air into the room counteracting the AC. We contacted guest services who sent someone to come up with a make shift solution of taping the hose and pushing the AC towards the window and near the beds for most of the hot air to exit. The room fridge wasn't working so we were brought another bridge that took the remaining space of the room so it was very congested. The AC was very loud so it was an uncomfortable sleep, none the less the amenities the next day made up for it like the kayaking and pool. I also did the morning jog with the guide which was amazing. I would suggest to better cater to the rooms in the future and ensure they are well equipped and ready prior to arrival/check in of the guests. Read less
