We spent 3 lovely Nights at the Fairmont Château Lake Louise. We travelled to Lake Louise after our wedding at Emerald Lake and Instantly felt relaxed and at ease. When we arrived in our Lakeview suite the view of the stunning Lake blew us away. They had champagne chilled on ice for us and desserts making us feel very special. All the staff were very polite and accommodating. All the restaurants were amazing especially the Wallister stube Swiss German restaurant. The fondues were out of this world. Lots of hikes to do around the lake and we even sat around the outdoor fire pits and took in the iconic views. Overall we are very happy with our stay and happy we chose lake Louise for a honeymoon location. Read less

3 nights in a standard King room. Not huge rooms but well appointed. Elegant and classy describes this hotel. Such a beautiful building and very clean and tidy and well kept. This was a big disappointment to us and thereby limited our food/drink choices. We will definitely check into this before we go again. Read less

The convenience of not having to worry for a parking spot is what did it for me personally, other special mentions are the friendly staff atmosphere and superb menu during breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. We also loved the in house shops, especially the Roots one. The only downside if our stay is the construction going on around the hotel. Overall we loved our stay, and will probably give it another go when we visit Alberta again the future. Read less

Was only able to stay one night but would definitely go back. In addition to the beautiful hotel and spectacular natural setting, there's a great walk that goes halfway around the lake, kayaks, etc. Rather tiny bathroom and was a little disappointed in the restaurant's food.

The couple of things that prevented me from scoring our stay higher was a lack of dining options - especially casual/more affordable and the fact that the Chateau is pretty far from any other places so you are captive to their dining room and lounge. A pub would be a great addition. Read less
