COVID Responsibility is the now part of a business model. Unsure if hotel is responsible for visitors just site seeing the lake. Visit at own risk. Social distancing signs abound but not followed. Public washroom at parking lot crowded with only a handful wearing masks. Visitors walked in and out washroom passing many on way in or out inches apart. The numbers allowed to "walk" around parking lot and lake "site seeing area", and without masks, is quite frankly eye opening. More important, it was obvious tourist seemed to not care about social distancing as they walked about . One "accidental" sneeze, cough or word that is projected into the air and, "sorry you got sick, too bad". Unfortunately, there are people not educated enough to "know" what social responsibility means. Rules will need to be spelled out repeatedly. Perhaps then, the rest of us, including the world, can enjoy this beautiful tourist attraction. Visit lake at own risk. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great, but food is super average and slow in reopening

The stay was great. Rooms, staff, dinner was all terrific. However, breakfast was really really slow both days and the food was average to bad. Cold and we had to send things back both mornings. Certainly an area to improve. Otherwise, things were great. The breakfast waitstaff were great and apologetic, but the food was not good. Lots of similar… Read more

Keen to make the most of the lifting of lockdown we booked a 2 night break at Lake Louise. Overall it was good, did they make “moments into memories” not quite. Check-In Check-In was ok, they could do with cleared social distancing signs and decals on the floor. We were due to get a PPE kit but the assistant omitted to give us it. We checked in early so the bed for the boys wasn’t prepared but a quick call to the bell captain and this was resolved. We were advised to make dinner reservations, 2015 was only available time which we took but a little disappointing with the kids in tow we tend to eat earlier. Room Room size, we booked a 1 bedroom suite as we had our 2 boys with us. Size was good, amenities were good, room cleanliness was good. This room was mountain view, it looked over the parkade so it wasn’t the best. The decor could do with freshening up. Dining The only sit down dining we found was Fairview Bar Restaurant. Evening meals in the Fairview Bar / restaurant were nice, outlook is great. Food was all very nice and a good selection given current restrictions. We took the opportunity to have drinks in the bar our first afternoon and for the kids to eat early. This was really great, the bar staff were brilliant and cleaning down between patrons was religiously followed. Breakfast Breakfast was a real let down day 1, we turned up at 0850 and was asked if we had a reservation - nope we didn’t know we needed one. So we waitlisted and got a table at 0930, unfortunate breakfast didn’t actually arrive until 1020 after some prompting of the management team. With 2 kids this is pretty hopeless. The dining area wasn’t even at capacity so really disappointing. Breakfast day 2 was better, food was good and service was a little quicker although it was still almost 30 mins between ordering and it arriving. The management team need to fix this as it’s going to be a real pain for guests across the summer. Pool The pool was available and all ok, the boys enjoyed it. The temperature is warm so little ones may get a bit cold. Opening is split 8-11 and 4-8 phone in advance and you need to change in your room before and after which is understandable. Would I go back, probably if the price was right. I’d booked a lake view room 2 queen most likely. I’d stay Sat/Sun in preference to Fri/Sat. Read less
