After our horrible stay at the Deer Lodge (You can read about it in my profile), we've decided to pay a little more and move into the Chateau. After our horrible stay at the Deer Lodge (You can read about it in my profile), we've decided to pay a little more and move into the Chateau. It was the right decision and well worth the value for what we paid for. We finally got the much-needed rest after all the hikes. Fairmont pampered us in every way. The food was pricy (they all are around that area), but well worth the value. I cannot possibly add to the long list of goodness that has already been mentioned by other reviewers here. So thank you to all the staff at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for making (saving) our trip to be a memorable experience. Read less

Upon booking, I was asked if it was a special occasion-and it was ! We were here for our 10th anniversary. As a gift, we got a free room upgrade, and a complimentary glass if port with our dinner one evening. Even with all the Covid changes, they manage well. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Finished off the trip with a short drive to Banff and walked the Bow River. All nights we ate at Chateau Lake Louise and we were thoroughly impressed by the food, in particular the mains and deserts. Had to give this trip a 5 out of 5. Thank you to the super helpful conscierge service as well at the hotel, always very quick responses to my emailed questions. Read less
