Every moment was beautiful! The staff was incredible, the room a little small, but lovely and very comfortable. This was my husband's birthday trip, and the surprise cake and Prosecco was a wonderful touch. We loved walking around the property and enjoyed all the views. What a fantastic part of the world!

We chose Chateau Lake Louise to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. The scenery and hotel are magnificent and we enjoyed exploring. The staff on the 7th Gold Floor were truly kind to us. However, we were expecting a window table in the Fairview Restaurant and an excellent meal to be the highlight of our Special Day and a good night sleep. We were disappointed. We were denied a window table, my husband was served an inedible steak (it was replaced but in the meantime my meal was cold) plus there was a ruckus in the hallway outside our room at 1:30 AM which woke us up and we difficulty getting back to sleep. We did not expect these problems in a high end hotel like Chateau Lake Louise. Read less

The fairmont is a fabulous beautiful hotel with amazing food. I highly suggest their breakfast buffet it's beautiful and has something for everyone. I think their pool and spa areas need to be updated. for such a fancy hotel they are very normal.

There was still alot of snow on the ground and the lake was frozen but the mountain backdrop still made for wonderful photographs. Had dinner at the Alpine Social and breakfast at Lago… Read more

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Stunning hotel, excessive price for food

Amazing hotel with absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains. travelling with my husband and 3 boys, I found the food prices to be excessive. $6 for a cup of tea? $10 for pb&j sandwich? I understand it's a luxury hotel, however, this was ridiculous! overall though, we just brought our own food and ate in the livingroom. Beautiful hotel
