This place is gorgeous. The entire area looks like a painting. Lake Louise itself is open to the public and i think tour buses can take people up here. But if possible, stay a night in this hotel to get the full experience. It was worth it. The afternoon tea was a real treat. Make sure to reserve a spot since this was busy. The restaurant louiza was quite expensive but the food was just okay. The breakfast is not memorable. Rent a canoe to go around the lake or just take one of the afternoon “tours” so other people can paddle for you. There is also an early morning tour to another lake (?moraine) that is also a not to be missed opportunity so book ahead! Read less

Stay at the hotel as a weekend get away. Great view from hotel. Great service on the Gold Floor Lounge. The hotel also has some activities that the guest can participate. Unfortunately, one would need to stay for longer in order to make full use of it.

We loved the Fairmont Lake Louise. It is a magical place with attention to detail. The hotel and staff appear to all have admiration and respect for the natural setting and beauty. The accomodations, food, staff and housekeeping were exemplary. A must visit and stay.

This hotel is in a magical location with incredible focus on the best service for the guest! The views are breathtaking, and the hotel is in exquisite condition. The food at each of the restaurants was top notch, and the service makes the whole experience somewhere you will not ever want to leave!
