we did not stay there, but we browsed around this beautiful hotel freely. It is so beautiful and lies amongst the mountains which offers incredible views. The stair cases at the hotel are beautiful enough to photograph. There is so much history surrounding this hotel. It is worth the visit, even if you can't afford to stay there...which we could… Read more

Well what can I say. Worth every cent. We got a suite so we had room. Totally worth it. The staff at the private concierge were amazing. They saved us so much time we fitted so much more in. You can relax and know you’re in good hands. There was the lady on the front desk who found us a room with a view - if you go make sure you get a room that looks down the valley, it’s beautiful. And the concierge who came and found us while we were having breakfast to let us have the tickets for the Icefield he had sorted for us. If only all hotels were like this - it’s not just about the situation and the view and the magnificent building ( it really is lovely), or the wonderful food - it’s the staff that make the real difference. Treat yourself and go if you can. Read less

We didn't really know where to start (and by the look of the plates many people there didn't know when to stop!). We thought it was very good value too. Lovely friendly service. Afterwards we looked round the hotel… Read more

Afterwards we looked round the hotel and went to see the nearby falls. Would highly recommend. There is a charge for parking so we parked free down the road from the hotel and walked up. Read less

Beautiful hotel with lots of shops. Room was okay although bathroom small and little countertop space around sink. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great staff. Walked down hill to get public bus to town.
