Our room overlooked beautiful Lake Louise. Stunning views! The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We plan to return to this hotel next year.

We didn't get into our room until 8:05PM. We picked this hotel because it was supposedly superior. first day one elevator didn't work. The next day neither were working. Oh yes, when we took the stairs, the light was out in the fire stairwell. Mariska at the front desk tried to assuage us; but for what the Fairmont charges, this was a certified disaster We had hoped to use the pool so prominently displayed on their website and walk the lake. Neither happened. We basically had enough time to eat two meals and sleep in the room. if anyone wishes to dispute any of the above, the Fairmont has my e-mail address. Read less

So incredibly beautiful and well maintained. Just a lovely place to be. Even with limited dining, we so enjoyed our time here. We had Antoine for our breakfast attendant and he was superb. Next time we’re staying longer!

Back to front desk and bilked into paying more for a better room after already paying $1600 for 2 nights? Plus of course paying for parking and being captive to eating in their restaurants. Feel like a terrible sucker right now. “Upgraded room” was 2 queens in old tired room with no air conditioning. Wished I had stayed in my beautiful room at the wonderful RimRock resort in Banff. Such a disappointment. DO NOT Recommend!!! Read less
