Great hotel in convient location. The fact that it is in Complexe Desjardins makes it super convient. There are lots of shops and services and a food court located in the mall of the hotel. Great hotel in convient location. The fact that it is in Complexe Desjardins makes it super convient. There are lots of shops and services and a food court located in the mall of the hotel. It is a bit pricey but worth the convenience. This used to be the Hyatt and it seemed easier to use the cab service when it was the Hyatt. We often had to get our own cabs when we went to the hotel entrance because there was not always an attendant there but we always managed to find out own cab. Read less

The staff at the Montreal Double Tree was the friendliest, most pleasant and welcoming of any hotel I have stayed out in the area. The hotel facilities were very nice a lot of upgrade services. Food was also very good.

The hotel was amazing! I stayed there 5 nights! I was there for an event and extended my stay for tourism. The staff was all perfect. I actually have no complaints! The price was good. I just wished there were more room service options.

Overall relaxing and laid back vibe; services can be more prompt. Room was quiet, and the sleep quality was good in general. Line got quite busy as the Salsa Convention event approaches; in the future it should be improved.

Last week, I spent five nights here while attending a conference at the nearby Palais de Congress. The location was super convenient, but the room was quite spartan. Last week, I spent five nights here while attending a conference at the nearby Palais de Congress. The location was super convenient, but the room was quite spartan. In particular, there were no drawers to be found anywhere! Is this for some ecological reason? If there were drawers, would that create some kind of security hazard? Would this allow the terrorists to win? I never did figure it out. Also, they put me in a room with a door to another room that could be opened to make a double. Ordinarily, that wouldn't be a problem, but the walls were thin and the other room was occupied by someone with a bad cold, coughing and sneezing very audibly. Each morning at 6 AM or earlier, I was awakened by the construction noise outside: boom, boom, BOOM! (repeats). Fortunately, I brought earplugs. This may be a temporary issue, but do ask for a single room and, if possible, one with drawers. Read less
