I am in Montreal for a family trip and I have arrived before the rest of my family. Due to problems with the reservation and a series of special circumstances I am unable to contact the family member who made the reservation to put my name on it. Even though I have numerous papers, vouchers and documents, with no minimum effort by the reception manager, I am left with no room until my family arrives in 4 hours. I needed to be publicly humiliated by personnel of the hotel telling me I cannot sleep in a sofa while waiting for my family although I haven’t slept the whole night because of the long trip and I’m refused a room I paid for. Apparently they are more concern about what other clients say of think about me sleeping on a sofa, forgetting I am also a client and they are not interested on how they are making me feel right now. I think this is not the feeling and the way I was planning to start a family vacation. And after all the expectation my family had on coming here (and all the effort to be able to come) I certainly don’t want to ruin their stay by telling them my experience so far. The staff has shown me zero consideration, plus zero effort to help me on the very special situation of my problem. At least if they had shown me a face of concern or try to find a way to fix it, I would have appreciated it. Bad service already before checking in and I’m not expecting anything better so far. This is my worst experience in a hotel ever. Read less

Upper tier business class hotel in a great location for sightseeing and exploring. My room was on the 18th floor with a good size, comfortable, with no issues whatsoever. I only has interaction with the front desk staff and they were cheerful and efficient. This is a great choice for anyone visiting downtown Montreal.

A solid high rise choice in downtown Montreal. Great views from our window, though the windows were dirty. They do seem to keep the urban noise out. There is some kind of plumbing issue. The pressure was too low and the temperature changed constantly. Also in the room comfort category, the AC was very noisy when it cycled on. Breakfast is upstairs… Read more

Well after many years of traveling for both business and pleasure I’ve had my share of hiccups as everyone no doubt has. What sets this apart is the fact that most other issues were the run of the mill weather delays to flights where the travel professionals have no responsibility or capability to rectify the situation. In this case we spent an enjoyable weekend at the Grand Prix of Canada F1 race as we do every year and went back to the Hotel after the race to get our car for the six hour drive home. It took these people one hour to get the car from valet parking. Totally unacceptable and totally within their sole control. We will not stay in this Hotel again. Read less

My room was spotless, and as a guest I had the option of joining their Bonvoy "Green Team" and earning points or receiving coupons simply for not needing daily housekeeping visits. The salt water pool is immaculate and the exercise room is beautifully equipped. For business and corporate groups, the conference rooms and salons are extensive. Wonderful facility, but the staff make it five star. Read less
