Amazing customer service from Ian (concierge). We had a last minute request to request a gift for a friend and Ian came through when we thought it was too late! It’s so great to see real customer service and guest appreciation in action. Merveilleux!

Friendly staff and one of the best hotel showers. The room was super comfortable, the in room Nespresso machine was convenient and I've never stayed someplace so well sound proofed. It was glorious never hearing another guest the whole stay.

The absolute best time in Montreal! We only had 3 days. But in that time we packed in sightseeing, food tours, the Aura light show and a Hockey game!! Ian - the concierge was marvelous with his recommendations for sights, shopping and dining. He even hooked us up with the hockey tickets a few hours before game time. He made our trip magical! Just home from 4 days in Montreal. Celebrated our 55th Wedding Anniversary and our stay at the Marriott Chateau Champlain made for a lovely celebration. We traveled by train from Toronto and found the Marriott to be a perfect location. The VIA rail station is steps from the hotel...say 6 minute walk if you are fast. Also just another 6 minutes to The Bell Center our central reason for choosing Montreal where Andre Bocelli was in concert. The center was just a few blocks away and you walk by sever eateries on the way. That being said, if you reserve a room that includes the Club floor your food will be plentiful along with snacks to keep you going 24/7. Worth the extra money for the room, in the long run at this present economic stretching time, it seemed less costly especially if you are traveling with children. From the welcoming doorman, to Nathaniel at the front desk to Peter at the Valet Desk to Ian the concierge for the dinner reservation ideas, and his gift of a bottle of Champaign, each of these staffers did much to make our stay wonderful. Though we didn't have a car to park, Peter was very handy to ask questions of and his genuine friendliness would cause us to return. Twice he made things so much easier for us. The last was hailing us a cab back to the train station and instructing the cab driver that we knew this was a very short drive, but we needed the drive. The cab driver though losing his spot at the front of the line complied with a direct and quick drop off, displaying much grace towards us. Thank you to Peter and the bright blue Honda cab driver ! The room on the 32 floor was bright, very clean, very pleasant and had some lovely amenities. Nathaniel graciously changed our room for a city view which was spectacular! We'd certainly stay in this centrally located hotel where you feel welcome and a central focus to the staff who are serving you. The bed linens were noticeable. I wished I could buy a set of sheets! The bed comfortable, shower powerful, toilet rather amusing, really, a lovely room. Except for a challenging internet connection a few times, and the water being turned off unexpectedly, there wasn't anything to negatively focus on for long. Thank you to all of you who made our stay so pleasant. We will be singing your praises back in Ontario. Read less
