Probably the best located hotel in the city; and especially if you are visiting Montreal during winter. Marriott Chateau Champlain offers direct underground connections to the Montreal STM subway system, the Bell Center, and the Montreal RESO aka the underground city. Therefore without setting a single foot outside, you’ll be able to visit the downtown core thanks to the largest underground complex in the world (33 kilometers). Aside from its location, this hotel is practically perfect! It offered one of the best night sleep I experienced in a hotel in a while. The recent renovations really help elevate comfort on every aspect. The gym is also reported to be one of the biggest hotel gyms in North America. Marriott is really setting themselves apart from the competition; especially after seeing the regal “M Club”, an exclusive space for elite Marriott members. I will now make it one of my life’s goals to become a “M Club” member! My only negative point is that I wish the pillows were firmer. Read less

My husband and I chose the Marriott Chateau Champlain for our holiday stay in Montreal last week. Beyond the hotel being modern, well-maintained and an array of nice dining options, the staff is truly exceptional. We love Julianne (concierge services) and Nathanial at the front guest desk along with Patrick and Peter, valet. We wish we had met Gabriel earlier, very personable and kind. Because of their impeccable service, we will look no further than the Marriott Chateau Champlain for our next stay and highly recommend to all traveling to the historic city. Across the street from the Bell Center (my Bruins fan husband, was very impressed, too!) and only two blocks walk to the Santa Parade!!! We had a bird's eye view of the city and the crescent shaped windows are very interesting! Our room / bed was very comfortable and clean and the lovely lobby holiday decorations were a bonus! Short distance to the beautiful Notre - Dame Basilica and quaint shops in Old Montreal.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read less

Wry clean and recently updated hotel, great proximity and connected to underground and metro. Friendly staff with all conveniences, including upscale M Club. The hotel is in its threshold of being overpriced. Related to in room TV, I can’t understand why they wouldn’t offer the highest viewed news Network - Fox News.
