One of the nicest places I have stayed. It is a little older hotel, but I mean that in a mature way. Staff is very professional and fast to respond to requests. If you are visiting Montréal brush up on Canadian French (it is different than Parisian French). Just the basics and you will be fine, most places speak English but some people won’t, not can’t just wont speak English. That is the city not the Chateau Champlain they all speak English and are quite polite. A+++ service. Read less

The room was immaculate and had an excellent view of the city. The location is perfect, with a 5-10 minute walk getting you to popular spots such as the Centre Bell (I would highly recommend attending a game if you can!), St. Catherine Street, and a good number of restaurants and bars. Downtown is a popular tourist area that is always bustling with people, especially on the weekends, so I felt very safe walking around at night. The hotel is also located steps away from the metro rail, which we utilized regularly. One thing to note: Our room was facing the Centre Bell, and on game day there was a lot of commotion outside that was slightly audible from the room. The noise isn't super loud, and it dies down once the game gets going- around 7pm or so- but if this would bother you it might be worth booking a room facing away from the stadium. Read less

The front office staff were so friendly and professional, welcoming us to Montreal, we were allocated a room on the 15th floor, one of the refurbished rooms. Our room had an amazing view over the park and up towards the hills that overlook Montreal. The colours of the trees were amazing. The room was perfect, very clean and spacious. A very traditional hotel with lovely up to date rooms. The hotel is perfectly located for Union Station and near various restaurants and bars. We are so happy we went with the recommendation to stay at this hotel, we had a wonderful time, thank you. Read less

My wife and I stayed for two nights as part of an escorted tour of east Canada and really enjoyed the experience. We had a lovely room, 2610, with truly amazing views of the area. The room, clearly, has been recently refurbished and benefits from the efforts. Only thing I don't understand is why you would refurbish a bathroom top to bottom but leave cracked floor tiles down, just an observation and maybe it's not quite complete. Nevertheless the room was very nice, spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was excellent with the most wonderful selection of fresh fruit I've seen in some time. All in all, I recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again if in the area. Read less
