Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites

Niagara Falls, Canada

The hotel

Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

We stayed for a week at this hotel in October for a family vacation. We stayed on the 41st floor and had a great view of the falls. We stayed in the two bedroom deluxe room and it worked well for our family of four. The beds could use new mattresses or a non-flat mattress. The dresser was wobbly and either the previous guest or housekeeping folded a flyer and stuck it underneath one of the legs to keep it from being wobbly so all of the drawers would shut properly. The shower would be better with more water pressure and a really good cleaning of the grout. All staff that we encountered at the hotel were very friendly and we did not have any trouble. Room service was good and fast (30 minutes max). The hotel does have a couple of restaurants inside along with a Starbucks and ice cream shop / gift store. The room itself served its purpose however it really does need to be remodeled/updated, especially for the money that we paid. Read less

I was very pleased with the hotel. The view was fantastic and we could see it all. Falls, attractions, and fireworks! My thing was the high rate for parking. Also the fridge in room was not very cold, not at all. I had to keep adding ice to it to keep insulin cool. The room was not setup for handicapped. They need maps or tv to let you know where… Read more

Loved the location of the hotel right in the middle of the street. The rooms are very big but at the moment the hotel is going through a lot of refurbishments so make sure to book a new or refurbished room. Floor 30 with a view of the Falls especially the morning sunset moment is like a movie scene. Nighttime is also good just sitting down and… Read more

The staff was so inexperienced that they didn't inform us over PA system. People were going down stairwell...some irate and running. A security guard in the stairwell was telling people it was nothing and to go back to rooms but alarm will keep going off. Finally, about 30 minutes later, there was an announcement over the PA system....every 15 minutes for another hour...we were just getting back to sleep each time. Very scary that staff were so untrained. They could have reminded people to walk down in an orderly manner at the beginning and announced it was OK way sooner...since the security guard knew. Then, instead of giving discounts, they just went ahead and charged the $65 parking and $70 breakfast. Unbelievable! Read less

To start off with, generally my review average is 4 stars. You have to really impress me to get 5 stars. Stayed on the 44th floor in the North tower with a premium room. View was great, but horseshoe falls was a little bit obstructed by the casino. We had a nice view of the nightly fireworks. Overall was comfy, clean as expected. The shower was kind of tiny (square stand up shower), but that was probably so that there was room for the nice, deep two person tub. We are hilton gold members and you get a $15 voucher to use for breakfast at the watermark. I used it as a credit towards a more substantial meal because the 'continental' breakfast that is included is a big plate of only carbs (muffins, maybe 0.5 cups of fruit). Read less
