Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls

Niagara Falls, Canada

Virgin rating

The hotel

If you’re wanting to get the best up-close experience of Niagara Falls, then that’s exactly what the Marriott on the Falls will give you. When we say close-up, this is the nearest place to stay to those three famed Falls — Horseshoe, American and Bridal Veil. If you want to get even closer, you’re in the perfect spot to head out on a boat on the waters. But you don’t have to if you don’t want to, as the hotel has an observation deck, a restaurant where you can eat and admire the views, and rooms where you can open the curtains each morning to the sight of the spectacular rushing waters.

Beautiful hotel, clean, great location. I paid a lot $ to get the Queen “Superior Fallsview Guestroom High Floor” Floors 25-31. What I got was floor 24 that sits right on some type of building balcony or siding, a mess. No view without standing up and looking over/beyond the building. VERY disappointed. There were a lot of people waiting for a room, we waited for over an hour till I finally got back in line to see what was going on. I found out later some rcvd discounts for the inconvenience, that was not offered to us. We had to have a broken chair in the room replaced, and also a faucet fixed. Both should have been obvious to housekeeping. The elevator situation is deplorable. Waiting 45 min for an elevator is unacceptable. The only time there was not a wait was when we returned after dinner at 11PM. Rooms are quite pricey, so I really expected better. Read less

Absolutely incredible view of the Horseshoe Falls at Niagara. Make sure to request Falls view when booking! There's nothing like watching the sun rise and watching gushing water evaporate. Perfect for all families with young kids learning about the water cycle. Milestone's has a great buffet breakfast overlooking the Falls, which is a great way… Read more

We had room 1425; it was such a beautiful view during the day and night. Conveniently located across the street from the hotel was the Wego transportation stop, which takes you right to all the must see and do spots. The passes came complimentary from the hotel, good for 48 hours which worked perfectly for us. If you’re looking for a great hotel, with unmatched views of both the horseshoe and NY side of the falls, this is the place to be, you won’t be disappointed; sitting in front of the hotel window at night to watch the light show and the fireworks was the best ending to the day. Definitely will stay here again. Read less
