Stayed for two nights celebrating adult birthday parties and before I forget, the view on the “Fallsview” side is worth every penny and I included views from our balcony. It’s bit tricky finding the garage entrance but it you reach Clifton Hill you’ve just gone by it. Once in, there’s a small parking area for valet (a must) and the staff quickly gets you in to register. Also, effortless and fast considering it was a Friday around 3pm (Checkin Time). Entering the room, we were impressed with the open space and immediately taken by the view of the falls and Niagara gorge. As we settled in we noticed a couple of great features. First, the Jacuzzi tub which was great and a rain fall shower with separate hand wand. Later discovered that you could have both during the shower at the same time. The balcony is only 2ft deep, so no seats, but kind of like a stand-up bar, enhancing the view on a great October day. The room comes with a mini fridge and lots of drawers for storage. The closet was a bit strange with a shelf that left very little room for long dresses or jackets to hang at length. Below the shelf was the safe. Above was the typical wire shelf filled with extra pillows and sheets. Frankly, this arrangement was not the last unusual configuration we noticed. The bed was first rate as was the lighting and appointment. An electric Fireplace added to the look and with enough controls that allowed us to enjoy as we pleased. Across from the bed was a wide flat screen TV but it was hard to see from the couch area because it was attached to the wall with a fixed frame. Would have been nice to have a swing wall mount bracket allowing easy viewing from the entire room. We also found out that a small table was missing from the couch area which also would have made the room space make sense. The only amenity that was an issue was the use and description of the “Lobby Lounge” Pub. I have included a pic of the web page information and no where does it mention that access it limited to “certain” customers. Also, It is confused with another bar area. We did find the Bar in the Lobby and it was well attended and the service was great. PS we also ate at Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant in the Hotel and OMG the food, service and view was amazing. So, to be clear, we had a great stay and do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. There was a Fire Alarm during our stay and it was handled by staff with professional standards and even though it was a false alarm, safety protocols perfectly followed. It is close to pretty much everything and all the fun of Clifton Hill as well as the classic Niagara Falls Parks we remembered growing up. Read less

Wow, what a great hotel! 100 times better than the hotel I stayed in in Toronto. From the moment we walked in the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The decor of the hotel was great and everywhere was spotlessly clean! We had breakfast one day which was ok, but decided to try other places. Views of the falls from the dining room were amazing. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a city view room which looked out over Clifton hill which was nice, but wish I had forked out the money for a falls view room as the location of the hotel, the view would have been amazing. Would not hesitate staying here the next time I’m in Niagara. Read less

This was our 8th annual trip to the Falls and our 5th time staying at the Sheraton. We love this hotel for its location but also for the very clean and comfortable rooms/beds and the views! We always book a falls view room but this year we had the best room with a much larger balcony! We usually only have a Juliet type balcony which isn’t a balcony at all. However, I must mention the disappointment we had this time with the breakfast buffet. The glasses of creamers always seemed dirty with fingerprints and even food stuck to them. I would rather have individual flavored creamers. Also, when I asked for an omelet I was redirected to a pan full of pre-made omelets where there were only 2 choices and the eggs were rubbery from sitting too long. Also the wait staff was not very courteous when it came to their vocal volume. They would yell at each other from across the room and remove dishes and drop them very loudly. I will seek out another breakfast venue next year. We thoroughly enjoyed the couples massage in the spa! This hotel has felt like home away from home for us with as many times as we’ve been here. Another disappointment was when the fire alarm went off in mid afternoon and an announcement was made to return to our rooms to wait for further instruction. We did not stay in our room but walked down the several flights of stairs until we were outside where several fire trucks and firemen had responded, we were never told what happened but we were outside for about an hour before the hotel was deemed safe. We had an outstanding view of both the American and Horseshoe falls. We traveled at an off peak time, during the week, so service was terrific and the elevators were quick. This hotel is in an outstanding area, with Clifton Hill next door, and the rainbow bridge in Niagara city cruises just across the street. It has a casino and water park attached. The casino is a great place to exchange currency. We self parked in the garage near the casino, and you could make it back to the hotel through walkways, or you could also walk outside. The rooms do not have a microwave, just a refrigerator. I believe there are microwaves on odd floors. We brought our own food for breakfast and did not eat at the hotel buffet, which we heard was very expensive. Highly recommend this hotel, as long as you book a fallsview room. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Terrible VIP fireworks experience!
