Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites

Niagara Falls, Niagara

Virgin rating

The hotel

Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

Front desk staff is efficient - it's a busy hotel, they manage all guests well. Their service is prompt. This hotels has few restaurants and bars. We tried couple of those during our stay, liked a lot. The hotel has both onsite parking and an offsite one that is couple of blocks away. They have shuttle service between hotel and offsite location, which is quite convenient. With these good things, we found room decor is dated. But that won't stop us to stay here during our next Niagara visit. Read less

Pros: We stayed in a suite so there were two bedrooms. The room had a jacuzzi and shower. There was a counter with a fridge underneath. The hotel staff was polite. The view was nice. Cons: The view is not like in the picture. The U.S. side view is actually of several roofs and other buildings with the falls being a small part. It's still nice but not awe-inspiring. The view at night is good when everything is lit up. Parking at the hotel is not free. It is $65 a night counted from 3pm in the afternoon. You can also choose to park at their lot two blocks away which is $35 per night. There is a shuttle back and forth to the hotel. Our room had: 1. A faucet in the bathroom that ran unless you positioned it a particular way when turning off the water. 2. A lamp with a broken outlet that pulled out of the lamp. The other outlet worked. 3. The remote for one TV had a broken back that would fall off when you used it, and no remote for the other TV. Maintenance came up and fixed those issues. 4. A drawer in the dresser that would not stay closed and would sit open about a foot from the dresser. We put tissues in the seam to keep it closed. 5. The room was dated. It really needed updating as did the halls. I'm still giving it four stars because the staff was good, the amenities were good, and for the most part the room was good, and it was close to the elevator yet quiet. The parking was a total bummer, and I'd probably not choose to stay there again. Read less

A couples trip to Niagara Falls. My husband surprised me! Positives: Our room was spotless with daily service from house keeping! The view from the window (almost the top floor),was beautiful. The lobby was top notch. The staff we encountered were friendly, and knowledgeable. We booked a tour with the concierge to visit the falls and surrounding areas and it was a blast! Negatives: The hot water was nonexistent at times. Not fun taking a cool shower. The internet was awful. I don’t know how business people could stay here. There are six elevators in the north tower. When we arrived, one was closed. Other days, we had to wait and wait to get one to take us out of the hotel. One time we stopped at each floor (over 40). At the end of our stay it seemed like only one of the five were working. Read less

We had a wonderful stay. The concierge staff, Frank, Karen and Christine were wonderful. We took the 3 1/2 hour sightseeing tour and it was the best money we spent. The hotel is beautiful and the views are amazing. Would like more Indian food options on the buffet. A great staff and a great staff. 5 stars!

The Jacuzzis are disgusting. I went to turn the jets on, hair, and other Disgusting debris came out. I left water and whatever came out there so staff could see. I will never stay again. I called housekeeping to tell the manager, her response was tell the front desk and they will take care of it.
