Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites

Niagara Falls, Niagara

The hotel

Everyone knows ‘waterfall views’ top the hotel wish list for every Niagara visitor. And that’s exactly what Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Suites delivers. In fact, TripAdvisor voted it in the Top 10 Hotel Rooms Views in the World. But it’s The Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor that really provides the photo ops: with its multi-level seating and floor-to-ceiling windows forcing the farm-to-fork menu to take second stage. One floor up and the rooftop Myst Lounge throws in extra selfie spots — and cocktails. Once you’ve had your fill of the falls, you can head to the adjoining Fallsview Casino; the hotel’s chill-out pool with its spiralling waterslide, hot tub, and sauna; or its other dining venues, from an all-you-can eat Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ steakhouse to an all-you-can-eat Southern-style barbecue smokehouse.

For value received...very disappointing... The room size is what I’d expect from a hotel in NYC ...very small...cramped...a lot of wasted space and poor configuration... Additionally...my view was of roof construction.... After spending in excess of $300+ it’s not what I would anticipate from a Hi,ton property... The noise level I thought was… Read more

Additionally...my view was of roof construction.... After spending in excess of $300+ it’s not what I would anticipate from a Hi,ton property... The noise level I thought was excessive..with little insulation from each room... Btw...it also took me 30 min to check in... Suffice it to say...I would never stay again... Read less

The pull out bed still had dirty sheets and when we moved the pull out bed there was another dirty sheet and garbage on floor. There was some change on the floor behind the desk and some rubber hand in one of the drawers. The bathroom tiles and around the shower were dirty as was the shower door, with scum. When I went to the front desk to let them know we were unhappy they wouldnt swithch us room, and comped our parking. For 450$ a night this is completely unacceptable! I will not be staying again. There is absolutely ZERO positives in this stay even the hotel staff was lacking in professionalism. The rooms were dirty, when I went to get my towel after my shower there was chewed gum stuck to it and the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty and not washed, the wait for an elevator is ridiculous and unnecessary there are no washrooms for the guests on the lobby floor to use if they are waiting in line or at the lounge you have to go upstairs to the MEZ or your room and the wait to get there is demeaning and horrible. At my age my bladder is not forgiving and Sadly last night did not hold out I waited 10 mins for the elevator as I could not do the stairs due to a bad ankle. by the time I finally reach a washroom it was too late and I was left utterly embarrassed and disgusted. My room was 1610 right off the elevator and even worse right beside the construction that at 7 AM the workers HAVE NO RESPECT OR INSIDE VOICE! it is loud and annoying and dusty and way to early especially at 7 AM!!!! My room stunk like smoke until I used my perfume to mask it! The parking line up the check in line up the elevator line up, I was here last year for the same conference and it was not any better I thought for sure this year would be and sadly it was even worse. WARNING do not stay here if you want to have a peaceful vacation. You will not enjoy the time at all as you will spend most of it waiting and waiting and waiting! AWFUL, the worst hotel stay to date in my life! The Only thing missing that I can see was the bed bugs so far! The fruit flies and flies were everywhere! I Will not be back again in this life time that is 100% for sure and I will do my best to let others know not to waste their money or time! HILTON you were such a disappointment and for over $200 a night that is not acceptable at all! Read less

I am so disappointed In The Hilton Brand after staying here. We traveled here for our bucket list trip of seeing the falls. We arrived at 1:30 pm and a room was ready right away. Great, we had been traveling for 10 hours. We went up to our room, passing drop cloths on the floor, holes in the ceiling and faux hallways for construction, After getting out of the elevator on the 14th floor, all we heard was jackhammering and felt vibrations. I couldn’t hear my husband talking to me. We went in the room to see if perhaps it was quieter and it was worse, plus it smelled wet and musty. We didn’t even put our stuff down and went right back to the front desk to get a new room. The lady was not very receptive to our request, she told us the noise would stop at night, I SURE HOPE SO, and she gave us a room on the 7th floor. Still the same outrageous noise. And the same exact smell. I pay hundreds of dollars for a hotel, I expect peace and quiet and cleanliness. Because of our schedule at this point we put our stuff down and had to get to our tours. When we returned night, the noise did stop but it is now 7 am and guess what I was just awoken by?? Can you guess?? JACKHAMMERING. 7 am. Not acceptable. We did not book a falls view room, wrong move. We got the view and the sounds from the concrete in the indoor parking garage. I am astonished that Hilton has no consideration for guests and would put money in front of guest happiness to this extent. This wing of the hotel should be completely closed during construction. To boot, when booking and in confirmation, there was no notification that there was construction at this hotel. Sooo disappointed. Read less

When you check in they do not give you the amount you are paying. We had pre booked with Expedia and they just took our card . They put a receipt under your door once you leave. You then see that you have paid three extra Canada taxes !!! This increased the price significantly . Apparently two of the taxes are not official ones and you an refuse to pay but we did not know this .We also ate in the restauarant .extremely overpriced for the food that you get and again increased by exorbitant taxes !! Beware . Read less
