I was extremely excited for this trip coming out of the pandemic, my husband and I were visiting from Alberta celebrating our recent wedding. Unfortunately, the booking experience all together was super poor. When I called the first time to correct it, agent charged an extra $200 to my account. Called and asked to speak to a manager who fixed it, arrived today and he had changed our room selection from fallsview to another. I showed the front desk lady my original reservation, but after a 2h drive from YYZ airport I was so exhausted I accepted the fee she charged AGAIN for changing rooms. They sneak in so many fees, at the end she literally said "and $45 parking will be included" when we did not even park on-site because they had one supercharger for our electric vehicle which needed to be parked in a separate lot. Honestly, if i wasnt so tired i would genuinely turn around and get literally any other room with fallsview. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, and I didn't despite my poor encounters even before i stepped foot in the hotel, but the combination of it all makes me recommend that everyone steer clear. They stress you out so much you can't even be bothered to enjoy the view once you get to your room. Read less

I stayed here for a night for a weekend getaway. Overall is not bad despite nothing really open yet except the Morton Grill in the front entrance parking lot. I love the Marriott mobile app as I can chat with the front desk or request extra amenities with ease. I recommended this hotel.

Now to set the scene for proper context, due to COVID restrictions, most of the hotel amenities were unavailable as were many of the nearby attractions. This is not the hotel's fault as they're government mandated restrictions. There was a gentleman checking in next to me who was rather upset at the hotel for not offering various services during the restrictions and the poor lady behind the counter was sympathetic and apologetic, but certainly nothing she could do about it. To that point, checking into the hotel was interesting as I actually had to park my car down the road at a different hotel's lot -- a different Marriott. This was also due to some of the restrictions, but I didn't mind the roughly 90 second walk back to the hotel. The lobby was clean and check-in was very quick. When I was asked how I was feeling, I responded with 'sweaty' due to the extreme heat outside. I was quickly handed two free bottles of water without any prompting from me. That was very kind and left a great impression. The room had a gorgeous view of the Falls with a comfortable couch by the window so I could casually enjoy the view without having to strain my neck. The bed and room itself was comfortable and given the extreme heat outside, the room was very cool and comfortable without any sense of the AC 'straining' to keep the room cool. The shower had plenty of water pressure and the room was clean, comfortable, and no complaints. I look forward to staying here again. Read less

Valet parking which is they just drive your vehicle over the the next marriot and charge you $45 dollars for but do not tell you it ends sunday at 7pm they bring your car back to the hotel and leave it as we were booked till monday not sure why they would bring it back to the hotel and they do not contact you and let you know only found out because we went downstairs and outside for some air and saw it sitting there, guess they were hoping to upcharge to the $75 on deck parking. Overall not a very great stay at this hotel for the price paid Read less
