Can't really fault it. Good location, comfortable room, good local facilities, staff always helpful and efficient. Hotel is very well placed to explore the city and surrounding area. Compared to UK prices are low

Rooms are old. No security for elevators. No card reading required to access floors with the elevators. Very long for check in. Many desk but most of them without employees. Bath room are very very small.

We stayed here for six nights. We chose this place because it is located close to shops. We found that the rooms are small, especially when you are sharing with your family. Ok for singles and couples. It is an old but large hotel. It could do with a good refurbishing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault any of them.

We booked this hotel because it is within walking distance to Sick Kids. The rooms aren't overly large, but they are clean and comfortable. There were some stains on the carpet, but everything else was fine. The desk area has a coffee maker AND a kettle, which was nice. The balcony has a double set of sliding glass doors to help with the noise, and the rooms on the inside courtyard are quieter. The beds were comfortable, and we had no issues with inside noise. They seem to keep the hotel room doors adjusted so they don't slam, which we very much appreciated! You enter the parking lot from Gerard, but you exit onto Bay, and you can't make a left hand turn onto Gerard, or any of the other following streets between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. I wish we had known this, since my daughter and I found ourselves in what we called "No Left Turn Hell", trying to get back to Sick Kids to pick up my granddaughter. The lobby area is large, and there are several colour coded elevators, which if you aren't paying attention can take you for a ride to nowhere. Certain elevators only go to certain floors, so pay attention to your key card package. The elevator to the parking garage is around the corner from the main elevators, except when they change it!. We got on our regular elevator in the morning, with some other guests, and it wouldn't go up. We finally got off and onto another one to go back up to our room. Very confusing if you aren't paying attention to the ever changing signs. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was well lit and ventilated. Read less

Just want to add two things: There is a coin laundry in the hotel (2nd floor near kids' area) and the T Bar also serves ala carte breakfast (if the buffet is too much food and the coffee bar isn't enough). Otherwise, the compliments in the other reviews hold for me, too.
