Since I had a early appointment in Toronto on Sept. 11/20 I was decided to spend a night in Toronto. Staying at the Courtyard by Marriott was the best decision I made. My wife and I were warmly greeted by Lewis & Rina. Because my stay was longer than anticipated my wife paid less for the next 2 night than what I did for the first night. To further complicate matters with a 12 noon check out pending and my wife having no idea if I would be available Lewis shone through with an additional 2 hours. This is customer service above and beyond the call. Based on the service my wife and I received I have no trouble recommending this hotel. Read less

Stayed here for a night and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff are very polite and they had did everything possible to keep the place germ free during the pandemic. I cannot fault the place. There were obviously a number of COVID-19 safety measures in place, but staff were very accommodating with providing the extras that were not in the room during this time. The hotel is very centrally located and there’s a metro station only a block away. The only curious part of the stay was when I arrived late in the evening on my final night, I asked the front desk if I would be able to have a late checkout the next morning. I was informed this was not possible. I booked a different hotel for the second part of my stay in the city and upon arrival that property offered me a complimentary late checkout before I even asked for it. Not a deal breaker, but it was the only blemish on otherwise comfortable stay. Read less

Security called the Fire Department who extracted me. Paramedics checked my heart for palpitations. Waqar Lodhi was the night manager on duty. Incident took place 11:15pm Thursday August 20, 2020. Security took my statement about the inoperable call button. I’m still distraught from the incident. UPDATE: The property credited me back one night’s stay and also offered BonVoy points. I appreciate the human way Vishal and Neha of senior management took care of me and did whatever they could to rectify the situation. Special thanks to Lewis and Rina as well. The room (which was an upgrade) was fabulous and the location was second to none. Merci, all. Read less

Prices are good and the location is great just north of Dundas square and right on the subway. Rooms are nice and clean but a bit small. Hotel is clean and staff is freindly. Breakfast was good, especially the eggs.
