I recently spent a week at this hotel with my girlfriend and here is my review: On arrival the staff were friendly and the large reception area was clean with plenty of sitting area. The staff recognised my IHG account and linked it to this booking 👍 and we were designated to a room on floor 16. There were 4 lifts and all so far so good. We were designated a twin double room, would have preferred a double but we were fine with this. The room was on the slightly small side but again for what we wanted from it (a base to explore Toronto) it was fine, there was a cupboard & a set of 4 draws for clothes. There was a ironing board available and a safe in the room. As for the bathroom again very small but had everything required, there was a shower bath combo but a small bath. There were plenty of towels and a hair dryer. Now as for the room cleanliness, it was generally clean, but on the walls there were a couple of stains which looked to have been there for a long time. Now unfortunately during our stay my girlfriend left her necklace out while we were out exploring one day and on our return it had gone. We searched everywhere in the room but no joy. I spoke to the reception and they said the bedding had been changed and potentially it could have been caught up in it and there was no chance of finding it and that was that. I asked the cleaner the next morning and she said she hadn’t seen it either. So that evening I went to the reception again and spoke to a different person this time. They were more understanding, and checked the found property list the cleaners fill out, spoke to security and took my name and number so if it was found I would be contacted. Unfortunately it was never found. The hotel did have a small gym which had exercise machines and free weights. It did have a small pool too but unfortunately during most of our time there it was closed for maintenance. As for the hotel location, it was ideal for us exploring the city, we walked most days from here to all the main city attractions but if you wanted to use the subway/underground there was a station 200 yards from the hotel. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. Te staff and location (convenient to the 1 Subway line) make this a good choice downtown. Not much to see in terms of city views, and the neighborhood lacks a bit of charm. I would personally recommend an internal or non street facing room if available. Good for business trips and those who want to be… Read more

If you want to see Toronto in three days this will be an ideal spot. You can get your hop on hop off bus tickets at the hotel for about $40 canadian dollars. The bus stop is walking distance from the hotel. You do not have to use your car to see Toronto when you are staying here. Parking is provided for a fee like most downtown hotels. Many choices of good restaurants, bars, shopping within walking distance from the hotel. You can get your laundry done at the hotel using coins. Staff is friendly and rates are reasonable compared to other downtown hotels. I would stay here again if I am in the area. Strongly recommend the hotel for it's location and convenience. Read less

Stayed at hotel for one night. Found bed bugs in both beds. Hotel said investigation would occur, and would take 2-3 business days. Day after checkout, got email saying no bed bugs were found. I have video proof of the bugs running around the bed. Hotel did NOTHING other than heat steam clothes after complaining for over an hour. Ridiculous, and… Read more

I stayed here prior to surgery at Toronto Western Hospital as part of organization by wsib. I thoroughly enjoyed it, everyone was helpful and it was clean and modern. They had a pool indoor and it wasn't busy but I didn't use it. The parking is underground very well-lit and safe. It is very easy to walk to place has tons of restaurants and things… Read more
