Good clean hotel with helpful staff. Rooms were a bit on the small side but ok for a few days, good location right next to subway station. Never got round to trying the pool so can’t comment on that, wood have got 5 stars if they provided complimentary water.

We stayed here as my daughters convocation was next door, at the Ryerson Mattamy Centre, old Maple Leaf Gardens. Following the ceremon, it was raining, so we decided to have lunch in the restaurant. The food was delicious! Very eclectic menu.

I needed to stay one night at this hotel for an event so it wasn’t my choice but I was pleasantly surprised. The rates are good for Toronto and the location is right by a subway entrance and a streetcar so you can get anywhere downtown easily from here. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, an on-site restaurant if you’re feeling like not going anywhere, and a Chez Cora across the street for a good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and I liked the window blinds that allow you privacy but still let in light, or full blackout for sleeping. The staff are friendly and helpful. Make no mistake though, you are downtown so you will hear sirens and construction and traffic noise. If you want a comfortable place for easy access to all things Toronto, this is a good choice. Good hotel right in the centre of Toronto. Rooms small but clean and adequate. Excellent breakfast in morning and staff pleasant. Parking a bit tricky on first arrival round the corner so be aware. 30CAD for overnight only drawback only until 15:00 next day.
