Joined my wife for a long weekend while she was in Toronto for a two week business trip, and just about everything about this hotel was an absolute pleasure. We were in a Corner King Studio, which was wonderfully appointed and spacious. Service was exceptional, especially in the restaurant, which would definitely recommend (particularly the seating around the open kitchen!) but also at the patio tables, in the bar, and the coffee bar, and of course among the hotel staff themselves. Great location, near to many great areas of interest in Toronto. Only reason for the one point deduction from excellent, the elevators had issues. There were rush hours when the wait could be considerable, and most of every day one elevator was out of service (hopeful that was just an unfortunate breakdown that was just bad timing). Definitely look forward to staying with them again! Read less

Why bother listing hours if you can just ignore them and shut down arbitrarily? The reason for closing early was not really clear from the front desk, it sound very convoluted, and sounded like the front desk disagreed with it closing. Who knows? Guests really don't want to get into internal hotel politics. Also- no wifi password at check in, had to call to the desk and get that too. A "curated" vinyl collection in your room is neat, but my guess is the business traveler would prefer the hotel lives up to the hours it promises. Read less

My wife and I were celebrating our 22nd anniversary in Toronto and do we stayed at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, well designed and had a nice vibe. We love the mixture of the old and new decor. The Location is right in the middle of everything, shops, subway and restaurants. We highly recommend and will definitely return to this hotel!
