My sister and I stayed for the weekend to atttend famiy function. This hotel has perfect location downtown Toronto. Easy walk to many activities , resturants and safe location. Hotel is gorgeous- trendy kind of decor. Rooms were spacious, fun and beds were extremely comfortable. Toiletries provided were high quality. Staff were friendly and provided exeptional customer service. Reasonable price for Valet parking in the city. Weather changed drastically in the city and I needed my heavy coat from my car. It was arranged and my coat was in the lobby in minutes !! Due to weather I needed to stay a second night. I approached front desk with my issue and accommodations were arranged immediately . Same room and same price. Seamless and pleasant . We did not dine in the hotel but did have coffee from the little bistro and staff there were so helpful and pleasant. Quick and easy Uber for transportation - they all know this hotel ! Overall exceptional experience . I would highly recommend this hotel- in fact I plan to book for a May trip for a show @ Elgin Theater.. First time at this hotel - Travelzoo deal was fantastic but I would definitely pay the full price to return. Read less

I stayed at the anndore house out of curiosity as we remembered it from its more colourful days! Loved what they did with it; rooms were large and all the furnishings and fittings were high quality. We ate in the restaurant more than once and enjoyed everything. The location is top notch and it’s a spot that both locals and tourists can enjoy.… Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this remodeled hotel with very modern decor in Downtown Toronto. We got an amazing deal on Travelzoo to stay here. Very close to Bloor-Younge station to get around the city. Bed was very comfy and everything was clean. Also enjoyed the high end toiletries :)

The bathroom is separated - toilet on one side and sink on the other - this was interesting but it would be convenient if you had a partner showering and you needed the mirror for grooming. The lobby was odd. It wasn't clear that it was the lobby but the employees there greeted me. The restaurant and bar were beautiful! It was wonderfully decorated! I loved eating here as the food was amazing quality and service was prompt. I had trouble figuring our valet - you pull up on the left side of the road right our front the hotel - kind of blocking traffic I would say which made me uncomfortable. But this wasn't too much of an issue as the valet person came out shortly. I would stay here again for sure! It is funky, close to beautiful stores like Aritzia, and plenty of restaurants nearby. I loved the experience of staying in a alternative hotel. Thanks for Having me. Read less

I stayed one night recently and had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The check in process was very fast and the concierge who greeted me, Rob, was very friendly and professional. The hotel has this cool art deco/ prohibition era feel to it and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in at how nice the spot was. My room was on the 7th floor with an east facing room. Recommended as there is a condo under construction right at Yonge. The room was really cool with a record player and a few LPs available to use in the room. The bed was comfortable and club chairs were a great touch. There were a few small things that made the room extra fun, like the old green lamp and rotary-esque phone. The bathroom had an interesting layout in my room 706 with a shower and toilet in one part and the sink and mirror in the closet area. It was fine, just a different layout. The art deco floor tiles were striking and the subway tile in the shower paired with the brass rain shower looked great together. The restaurant attached was quite nice as well with great cocktails and food. The room service was nice too with fast service. The valet parking was a nice touch. Location wise, you are in a great spot with Iconic Yonge Street at your doorstep, access to high end Yorkville shopping and access to Line 1 and 2 within a 5 minute walk. If you are coming to Toronto and want a unique place to stay, I would recommend Anndore House. I will definitely consider a return trip to them. Read less
