The Westin Harbour Castle

Toronto, Canada

The hotel

A luxurious, landmark waterfront hotel, Westin ensures your every comfort is met at the Harbour Castle. Beautifully appointed guest rooms with Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed and Bath offer a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day spent sightseeing. There’s also a heated indoor swimming pool in which to wallow and the WESTIN Workout Gym, overlooking the picturesque Toronto Islands — enough to inspire anyone to take to the treadmill! Afterwards, recline in the whirlpool or, if you’ve still energy to spare, perhaps a game of tennis or squash may tempt you. There are plenty of restaurants close by but highly recommended are both the hotel’s eateries. The Mizzen serves exquisite à la carte dishes alongside a very tempting buffet. Our SuperFoods menu features revitalizing dishes made from healthy ingredients rich in nutrients, antioxidants and delicious taste so you can feel energized and at your best all day. On the 38th floor, with panoramic views of the city and the lake, is Toula Restaurant and Bar, one of North America’s premier culinary destinations. Sit back and admire the views as you feast on gourmet Italian cuisine and fine wine.

I can say this stay was flawless! Starting with the valet, front desk, manager and restaurant. Kevin the mgr was amazing. We love the harbour views and proximity to entertainment venues, but a couple of things tarnished this visit. I specifically booked a "newly revitalized" premium lakeview room. When I asked to confirm this on arrival, the desk clerk hurriedly said it wasn't a refurbished room, but had a better view with a balcony and we would like it more. We kept it because the balcony was nice, but they should have assigned the room we reserved. The clerk then talked us into their green program which turned out to be a nuisance as cleaning staff would not top up our coffee and tea supply. We also ran out of hot water for a spell. All in all not enough complaints to keep us away in future but we hope they refocus on attention to detail. Read less

Good and clean but no customers parking. 50$ a night or public parking two blocks away. Awkward check in with tech problems wasted a good 45 min on arrival. Good beds but very outdated scratched up furniture

First class view of Lake Ontario. Comfortable spacious rooms. Close enough to all things downtown Toronto. Great for anyone thinking of using the Toronto City Pass. Many of the locations are close to the hotel.
