Two stays, two experiences. We stayed before and after a trip to Whistler. Low floor city view = don't stay again, high floor water view = great hotel. Two stays, two experiences. We stayed before and after a trip to Whistler. Low floor city view = don't stay again, high floor water view = great hotel. On the first stay our 4th floor corner room suffered from so much road noise that we were unable to sleep even in the middle of the night following a flight from the UK. The rooms are clean, reasonable size and generally fine. Breakfast was good. Bar area nice and there is a great independent coffee shop within the hotel. Whenever we tried to use it, the courtesy car service had too long a wait to be of any use. The large lobby area and seating are only available if you are purchasing drinks, if you are checking out and waiting for transport, you can stand... Despite the apparent moan, I would stay again. All staff at the Pacific Rim Fairmont were exceptional to interact with. From housekeeping to front desk to room service, everyone was kind, friendly, and professional. It made long tradeshow and conference days easier knowing that I wouldn't return to anyone who might not want to be at work. Their attention to small details made all the difference

From the moment I arrived I was impressed by the hotel and its staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious with beautiful views of the mountains and water, and the washroom was luxurious and very spacious. We had breakfast at Botanist and it was wonderful. Also ordered room service twice for breakfast. It was hot, fresh and delicious, and it was delivered with exceptional service. The Noridic spa experience was a great price for hotel guests and we loved it - highly recommend making the time to do it. Overall, an incredible first stay at this hotel and I would definitely return the next time I'm in town for both business and pleasure. Read less

This place is amazing! Great location, classy, wonderful staff, super comfy beds, and quiet room! I didn’t get to use the pool deck amenities, as it was chilly out…and I forgot a swim suit. However that spot looked really inviting too. Breakfast was in the pricey side, but overall in tone with the quality of the hotel.

Booked last minute due to an early flight. The hotel was super busy but welcoming. The only issue was unable to get a reservation in any of the restaurants due to a medical conference. Room service was the only option, and they delivered a delicious and timely alternative. The staff was very friendly and impeccably clean and well-maintained… Read more
