This is fantastic property and very well located next to Canada place harbour where all the cruise ships dock in downtown Vancouver. It has a huge lobby with a buzzing lounge where you can except some new activity happening everyday. The rooms are really good with all the amenities as expected in a hotel of this stature. The food is very good especially in their restaurant the Botanist located in the 2 nd floor. They also have a nice spa with sauna and a hot pool. The only issue we faced is that we booked a room including ‘full breakfast’ and which we advice not to add on in your booking as there are many unexpected restrictions to it. They have a different system of 2 selections one called pantry for 31$ which includes fruits, salmon, meats, and breads etc on a buffet basis and tea/ coffee to be paid extra. The other is a breakfast including eggs and meats and tea / coffee and other items on a la carte basis. There is as limit of 41$ per person which no one tells u about so it’s not really a full breakfast included and you may might as well book on room only basis. Also even though the breakfast time is till 11 am we were told by 10:40 that they won’t serve the pantry buffet to us so that was a real shame and extremely disappointing to an otherwise fabulous stay. Good Room, Great Location, Good Service. Poor room service menu and dinning options. So so breakfast. Nice pool but bad pool menu. Would probably stay at another hotel for a 5 star experience. The Rooms are great and the staff along with that are great.
