Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada

The hotel

Very Vancouver, this downtown delight brings the city’s signature cool styling, upscale-yet-casual lifestyle, and modern dining scene to your door. It might be stylish and spacious — and have free WiFi on tap — but you won’t want to spend much time in your guestroom — not when your feature-filled hotel has distractions like a gym, Life Luxe Spa, and al fresco sun deck with heated pool and hot tub. Giving you a true taste of British Columbia, Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s bars and restaurants feature fresh regional produce, sustainable seafood, local microbrews, home-grown wines, and artisanal cocktails, as well as the less-local Starbucks® for that pre- and post-sightseeing caffeine fix. The location’s very Vancouver too — eating out, shopping, and sightseeing are effortless with downtown favourite Robson Street just blocks away, and Stanley Park’s beaches, cycling, and totem poles a leisurely stroll.

We took a last minute staycation this past weekend and although the hotel was quiet, our stay was great as we were located on the 26th floor looking North. We checked in virtually so we just stepped into the lobby and straight to our room without talking to anyone-Like the Enterprise commercials! Our room was spacious and clean, and the desk was really handy for our takeout dinner. We discovered that the stairwell was painted with murals from the top of the hotel all the way to the lobby so we took it down the once at the end of our stay! Also discovered that the pool and hot tub was enclosed from the street noise and not inside--which we didn't get a chance to use as we assumed it was indoor anyways--but next time! Read less

Fast efficient hotel in a convenient location in downtown Vancouver. It is a no frills business hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby all at a low price. Dining options in the hotel are average. The rooms could use an update but no complaints.

Also some rooms have balconies which are awesome and getting rarer at hotels these days. This Hyatt Regency is running a smooth operation. I've been here a week already and the service has been incredible! Highly recommend the hyatt app that you can use as your room key and request towels, free toiletries ect. The staff has been delivering them at seemingly lightning speed :) I'm a globalist so I'm used to getting treated well at Hyatt properties but Elaine at the front desk and manager Dan really stepped up to made my stay extra special. Thanks again! I will def be recommending the hotels to friend and relatives. Read less

I had a couple days off after a very long shift at work - so I was pretty exhausted after working 288 consecutive hours as an essential services worker. I asked the staff for a higher floor and a balcony - all of which was granted and approved with a mobile key - to get into my room, respecting the Covid 19 protocols. The room was clean , the… Read more

We ad a wedding there 15 years ago but the manager was nice enough to let us take a look at the venue, Pool was heated and had a great hot tub. They have Starbucks coffee to make at your room, and a full Starbucks location located in the lobby. My son loved the hotel he wanted a souvenir so the manager was nice enough to give us a Hyatt water bottle *thanks to Ryan* I will always remember the hotel and keep in my memories Thanks Hyatt for the wonderful stay!
