Accommodating, gracious, helpful and most of all, the views.....I am not normally one to gush about a view as one should be out and about exploring. However, given this is my hometown and I have stayed at nearly every hotel I feel that I can evaluate the uniqueness of each property. The Hyatt is centrally located near Burrard Station and has a Starbucks in the lobby so your morning is already set up rather well. First two nights I was in 3022 which faces South and is high enough that you see over the nearby towers and dwarf the 18 story Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (a great property nonetheless just of a different era) and on a sunny day, the city comes alive, English Bay sparkles in the distance and all is right with the world. In Grain (the lobby bar), do yourself a favour and get the Kung Pao Cauliflower....it's pretty much the bomb.com (circa 2006 zeitgeist) and pairs well with a Crown and Ginger. I found myself fortunate enough to be in the elevator yesterday with the Executive Chef, Director of Events and Banquet Chef and passed along my compliments on the cauliflower - yes, it really was that good. Last night, made use of the hot tub (in the rain) and in all honesty, it's pretty idyllic being misted with that liquid Vancouver emollient while chillin' in the hot tub with some good people having colourful conversations (this means cancellable topics). All in all, this property is a hidden gem and one that should be explored more thoroughly. SIX STARS ON BURRARD!!!! Read less

Excellent hotel would recommend to anyone travelling to Vancouver. Central to all areas including shopping, sight seeing, restaurants, close to ocean, transit and train readily accessible. Staff amazing and friendly

The hotel was great overall, the room is good size and the everything was extremely clean, which I really appreciate. The location is really convenient as it is in downtown, close to banks, restaurants, shopping, etc. I really recommend it.

Great location, The hotel is beautiful and clean and is ocated in the heart of the city. Convenient to restaurants and shops and walkable. Beautiful lobby holiday displays. Helpful and welcoming staff

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay at the Vancouver Hyatt Regency a memorable one. We were in town for my company holiday party and the staff were incredible, the amenities were great along with the food and dinning options. We will be back again.
