Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada

The hotel

Very Vancouver, this downtown delight brings the city’s signature cool styling, upscale-yet-casual lifestyle, and modern dining scene to your door. It might be stylish and spacious — and have free WiFi on tap — but you won’t want to spend much time in your guestroom — not when your feature-filled hotel has distractions like a gym, Life Luxe Spa, and al fresco sun deck with heated pool and hot tub. Giving you a true taste of British Columbia, Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s bars and restaurants feature fresh regional produce, sustainable seafood, local microbrews, home-grown wines, and artisanal cocktails, as well as the less-local Starbucks® for that pre- and post-sightseeing caffeine fix. The location’s very Vancouver too — eating out, shopping, and sightseeing are effortless with downtown favourite Robson Street just blocks away, and Stanley Park’s beaches, cycling, and totem poles a leisurely stroll.

What a wonderful stay I had recently at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver! Although Vancouver has so much to offer, if I made it no other place than the Hyatt during my one night stay it was so worth the trip! Great reception, concierge and a lovely room with city view and Mountain View combined. The room was perfectly cared for and comfortable and a peaceful haven for the stay....just wonderful to unwind. The Regency Club is superb; the food and beverage are well-appointed and fresh, just perfectly stocked and tasty food treats. The key to the Hyatt Regency is the amazing team and I appreciate the great efforts of Sara Tseng, who does a tremendous job as the VIP manager. The Regency Club Concierges are fully engaged with the guests and concerned about all; thank you Vanessa, Joyce; you all are super! Also teamed with Ivy and Bonnie, thank you. I saw and experienced great attention to detail as well in the hotel from all including Edwin the first-class bell attendant. Thank you to the General Manager, Lin Schatz; can't wait to return! Staff make this hotel, super friendly and helpful. Reception nothing remarkable. Not comfortable. Lacked furniture. Breakfast was excellent, omelettes delicious and pancakes with maple syrup light fluffy and lush. Decor ok. Very hotel uniform - not stylish. Bed very comfy & shower good- I suspect that but matters most.

worst hyatt in the world by far. Old, smelly, and to my luck a major strike because they dont pay their employees or give them any type of security and they have to work 3 jobs. So arrived after a long flight from germany just to get to a hotel with the worst amount of noise and strike ive seen ever at a hotel. Get to my room and its quiet so im fine but have no room service or any other kind of service available for the time we were staying there. After about 4 days i needed to extent my trip by 2 days and called to ask if i could extent and they literally said no sorry you have to leave today. I understand you are going through a strike and we have nothing available anyway but since the hotel would still operate for some people and not 2 days extra for someone that they knew would find a hard time to find any room in the city at that time because of the conferences and cruise timing that i was just baffled. Rooms : 3/10 it should be a 2 star and would be anywhere else Staff : On strike location : Great Read less

As a frequent visitor to Vancouver, the Hyatt Regency is the only place I will stay! The customer service is excellent and standard of accommodation consistent and excellent value for money. The hotel is centrally located and it is easy to access all Vancouver has to offer from its doorstep.
